Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 24 New York Jets 27 | FINAL

Gah not having Witten able to get out on a route the majority of the night, especially in the clutch, hurt us too.

ugghhhhhhhh

I find it hilarious that the same ****** who said we were gonna get beat badly are now complaining we lost by 3.

I am proud of the Boys tonight.

I'm glad we hung in there but even I am getting tired of Romo choking at the worst possible times. It's not like he throws the picks when we are up by 21. He does it in his own end of the field with a few seconds left when we are tied.

Anyway, the D held up pretty good considering the injuries. There is something there to build on.

Also the play calling at the goal line needs to change. That was awful.

Because it's the NFL of course: gotta be exciting and throw the ball because the run game is boring. Yeah, we run three times after Witten steps out of bounds at the one yd line and we A, score a touchdown, B score a field goal and C, take time off the clock. What's the downside of running there? Oooohh--gotta be tricky there! This is a disgrace and I'm sick to my stomach.

When will the nightmare end.

Being embarassed and ashamed of routing for the Dallas Cowboys has become the norm for almost two entire Generations of Fans.

The Cowboys lost, but they showed some spark.

I like what I see...

I'm with you. Tough loss, and easy to pin it on Romo, but the defense showed me they have something. Dez Bryant showed me some beast, as long as he can stay healthy.

This game came down to two or three plays, and we lost on 'em. Tough game on the road, you have to play pretty much perfect. Especially on an emotionally charged night for New York

I am really disappointing with the outcome, but there are silver linings to be found.

how can man so smart, be some dumb on the goal line.

Romo Fumbles the ball, and its Jason Garret call we need to blame on. Genious!

This is all on Tony Romo. I can't believe he threw that Int.

INT was more on Dez or Garrett for having Dez in the game.

The fumble on the 1... You just can't do that. Thats completely on Romo.

No moral victories, but Jenkins gave it his all tonight.

I was proud of Jenkins. Especially after coming back in after that blind side hit from Plaxico. Jenkins showed a bit of toughness tonight.

I am a proud Romosexual, but gosh dang it, Tony! What the Frick were you thinking?

Exactly.

I'm a huge Romo fan but I was left shaking my head, and dumb founded, by his fumble and that pick just didn't make any sense. It was clear there was nothing else that was going to happen there but getting it picked.

Why didn't we challenge the Romo fumble? It was close enough to at least warrant a challenge. But what is Tony doing there? You have the 3 points!!!!!!!

They could challenge it. They would have lost, they knew it, so they didn't. There was no way they win that challenge so they'd have simply been throwing a time out away to challenge that.

Loosing by three on the road against that team is nothing to be ashamed of. Hell, in all reality we should have one.

There were alot of questions about this team coming into the season, and I am liking what I see. Even with the loss.

Hey, it's Romo ball.
It's been that way for years, and will be so for years to come.
That is our fate. It's some metaphysical curse that has befallen Dallas.
Romo pics, fumbles, etc., at crucial times that rip the heart out of the team and it fans.
Hey, it's Romo ball.

A million Romosexual apologist will not change it.
It's for keeps.

I agree with this. I was pretty upset when I saw the shotgun formation. They should have ran the ball 3 times and get at least 3 points and win this thing.

Why risk an INT, Sack, etc? Just run it!

Garrett lost a lot of luster tonight. Poor play calling, poor game management, poor clock management.

Special Teams and turnovers doomed us, but we lost by 3 against a team that has been to the AFC Championship twice under a mediocre QB. We put up 24 pts against a great defense. The environment was insane and I'm still sort of puzzled how the Jets never got flagged, there was alot of pushing and shoving after the whistle.

We lost one game, it's not the end of the season folks.

Our secondary is scary on paper but I thought they played really well.

Especially considering all factors.

Im proud of how the team played but Romo gave it away. Ugghhh

Not confident that Dez can stay healthy. Not confident that Romo can avoid the big mistake. Pretty much sums up my thoughts.

So who do we blame for these dumb mistakes? I though the RHG was supposed to fix all these bad habits.

All I can see it has to go on Jerry. He is the only common denominator for the last 15 years. This is the atmosphere he creates.
