Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 24 New York Jets 27 | FINAL

all the mugging and hands to the face and the jets gets not one penalty called. I know its 9/11 but jeez. Can the refs call the game fair.:banghead:

That's what lost the game. The smart call is to run the ball down at the Jets goal line chew up clock and kick it and make it a 2 score game. There should never have been any passes called

Back-to-Back fades.

Back-to-Back slants at Champ Bailey.

Back-to-Back passes from the goal line with a lead.

Loosing by three on the road against that team is nothing to be ashamed of. Hell, in all reality we should have one.

There were alot of questions about this team coming into the season, and I am liking what I see. Even with the loss.

For some irrational reason 18 straight play-off appearances is merely an after thought for this Organization and most Fans.

Yep. I kept telling my wife that I hoped we wouldn't revert into being "cute" and just pound the ball. If nothing else the Cowboys would get a FG and make it a two score game.

Should have backed the players to get rid of the salary cap if you expect that ever again by any organization.

KUDOS to the defense. They have shown that we are in for a treat as the aeaon goes forward.
Too many mistakes on offense and special teams. Too many *** moments that just make us shake our heads and know that we have felt this way far too often in the past.

Implosion on ST and Offense for final 10 minutes of a 60 minute game.

I am happy that we went on the road, took their first punch and the lead into the 4th qtr but sadsened to have let it slip away. A "coachable" game that I hope we learn from.

I guess you didn't see their DL getting a push on our OL. To be expected, we are young. The question I have about coaching is keeping Dez on the field when he couldn't contribute. Also running up the gut too much when running outside was probably the better option.

Yeah, Garrett still is afraid to run the ball inside the 5, even with a lead in the 4th quarter. But he is the genius so who I am to question?

Penalties aren't why we lost the game, but I find myself wondering if all those after the play hits by the CBs on our wideouts wasn't excessive. Is that allowed?

INT was more on Dez or Garrett for having Dez in the game.

The fumble on the 1... You just can't do that. Thats completely on Romo.

This is one of biggest criticism I had of JG as our OC and that is why I have doubts about him as our HC. He seems to have the wrong personell in at the worst times. I remember him running gimpy Barber on a sweeps. I wouldn't even have healthy Barber run that play let alone gimpy one.

Why the heck was Bryant still in the game? And why was he even on an option as a receiver?

Agreed. Jason Garrett lost this game, not Romo.

I'm becoming convinced that Garrett's playcalling needs someone to filter out his idiotic ideas. He constantly out thinks himself and tries to get too cute for his own good and it almost never works.

Shotgun from the 2-yard line? Thats not even something I'd do on MADDEN.

It was interesting to hear the New York accent on the umpire.

you have any idea how much the Cowboys Oline was holding?

I have to disagree. Romo has to know the guy isn't playing right, is clearly hurt, and you simply can't even bother to look over there.

There is no way Romo should have ever thrown that ball. Dez was in no position to make a play on that ball. Romo can't control who Garrett has in the game but he can control where he's trying to go with the ball and he never should have thrown that ball.

This. The refs let them play. Was surprised they called the Witten pick, but the refs did a good job tonight.

typical Romo. Yes, he's a very good quarterback. But when the going gets tough his nuts shrink. He's good enough to be a winning qb, but just won't be championship caliber. For evidence check critical fumble when 3 points ices the game, and throwing duck at Revis on what Garrett just said was "Tony was confused by the coverage."

I don't think that a penalty or two would have made the difference, but they showed the one replay with Ware getting held that really pissed me off. I would love someone to do a study on how many times Ware generated a holding call. The premier pass rusher in the league, and he gets no calls.

Really disappointing.

really, this is what you want to complain about,, take a look at our offensive line, could of called a dozen holding plays there
