Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water. This game was a pure case of one team wanting it more than the other and that says a lot about the make-up of this team.

he looked bad on his 1st block

but I guess he played pretty good since the pressure came mostly from the left

1st, give credit to the Packers, they played a good game.

2nd give some credit to the Cowboy players they played tough along as they could before things fell apart, I think they played as well as they had been prepared for this week.

This game was lost because of coaching. Doesn't look like they prepared this team enough this week, the Defensive Coordinator was blitz happy when he didn't have to be, the Offensive Coordinator is afraid to use the speed available in the offense, and the Head Coach lets the team run on auto pilot.

It seems the OC, DC, and HC lack situational awareness in their calls. Blitzes are expensive, if you don't get there you get big plays on you and tire out your defense. You would think the DC/HC would know that he doesn't really have a good blitzing team, they tend to clump together on the LOS. Passing on 1st down deep in your own territory are also expensive, only 3 things can happen and 2 of them are bad. I am not against passing on 1st down, but I am against it within your own 20, As well I don't know why Choice seems to be in the dog house (not used enough)

I am trying not to be knee jerk, the team is still in great position. But I am bringing myself back to reality. Although I know Wade is not the coach I want him to be I am holding out hope he can get something done this season, but like I said I am bringing myself back to reality.

He is the one that predictably abandoned the running attack.

I knew this was going to get brought up, and it's ignorant as well.

Going into the 4th quarter (down 10 I believe) Romo had 15 attemps to 11 rushes for our trio.

Not upset by the loss...i just think this team is far from a finished product. But at least the sun shine pushers got a reality check and had their egos put in it’s place. Defense played great...feel bad for them.

Any thoughts or opinions on the play of Doug Free? It seemed most of the protection breakdowns came from the left side (Adams) rather than the right (Free).

objectively he did better than I thought he would, however when he got on the field I think I heard something, I'm pretty sure it was the sound of our season leaving the building. :banghead:

Doug Free looked solid in pass protection.

Gurode was clueless on what to do when Barnett/Hawk blitzed.

That is what I said... Miles Austin has been quiet the past two games. Last week, he caught a break on one pass that won us the game. Teams are effectively taking him out of the game..

If Garrett doesn't take advantage of the run, just like last year, we are gonna fade again...

Did you even watch the game?

Put down your agenda.

learn those names and be prepared to see us picking them in rounds 1 and 2 respectively.

Romo was blindsided to say the very least, Roy was tapped and he dropped the ball.
Ok well Austin fumbled with no contact, he was saved by the boundry though...

Is getting old. A few draws and screens are good to mix in but it seems like its all we run. When you do that you put the O-Line on their heels backing up to fake pass protection the whole game. We have a big offensive line and we don't use it. Everything JG calls is a gimmick. Just run the damn ball between between the center, guard and tackles 25x times per game and get out offensive line moving the defense off the ball. You can mix in play action, screens from there.

Jimmy on the post game " You can not let them get full of themselves like they (Cowboys) have becuase this is exactly what happens" (paraphrased)

Like this analysis.

This team lacks leadership, that's Wade's fault. Penalties, dumb mistakes, lack of execution, a defense that plays well until it counts, and guys like Jones, Witten and Brookings trying to light a fire under the teams butt, while Wade, Garrett, Romo, and Ware stand around with a lost look on thier faces. Don't expect any real leadership from Wade anytime soon.

I used to coach AD, the kid is a BEAST. He's athletic enough to play RT and can play guard as well.

I put blame on both the staff and players, however I think i'll lay more of the blame on the players than the staff.
