And everyone knew that the Titans were holding firm with AJ Brown on his contract and they were looking to get him traded and they ended up with a significantly better haul (and then Philly handed him a massive contract).

Jerry got fleeced on Cooper. It's just that simple.

Agree with you but some on this board said that was all we were going to get for him because they said everyone knew Jerrah was not going to pay Cooper and everyone knew we would release him. But our brass talk to much and that is the problem.

There is not a receiver in the NFL that has not dropped a pass

I agree and CeeDee is having a great camp, he has been making the catches. Drop pass will happen but overall his play during camp has been great

Both statements can be true. Jerry can talk too much and everyone in the NFL can have known regardless he was going to be traded and no one wanted to pay that salary for a WR who has been seen to quit on two different teams (once is a blip twice is a trend). Even if Jerry had said nothing every single GM in the NFL has people who can look at other team's salary cap. Every single one of them could tell that either Cooper's salary was going to get restructured or he was going to get cut or he was going to get traded. They were not restructuring which left the last two. Even if Jerry did not tip his hand every GM knew this simple truth. The AJ Brown situation could have gone either way because letting him play on the option was fine whereas letting Cooper play on that contract was never going to happen.

Dez had strong seasons in Dallas even with having suspect hands. Amari Cooper is like 3rd in the whole league in drops since he entered the league.

CeeDee can still have a successful career despite his weaknesses
Coming from the team that did not even get him in the draft. Now why can't our fans be more like Lion?

good to see you man.

There's only one reason why Lamb is dropping balls and that is Dak Prescott.

CeeDee makes hard catches look easy and easy catches look hard. Dez had the same issues. They both would make some ridiculous catches yet drop the easy ones.

It's a concentration thing with these guys who are known for their YAC abilities. They are more focused on running after the catch than catching it because they know it's an "easy" ball to catch.

If Cooper had Irvin's pure heart and will power, he'd be a top 5 WR, hands down.
