I thought the opposite. Prescott was throwing to the front pylon expecting Lamb to post up in front of the corner. The corner was playing behind Lamb expecting Dallas to try to go over the top before seeing the throw and breaking on it.Looked to me like Dak read the play wrong and threw underneath when the throw should've obviously gone over the top.
Maybe, maybe not but I'm just curious why Dak didn't at least acknowledge CeeDee with a head nod or something instead of ignoring what he said. That seem normal to you?I love the fan narrative. CD is the problem for yelling at Dak, he's toxic and childish and immature. CD just told take to throw a jump ball and he has him, which is pretty positive. CD is clearly not a problem yall just want to read into stuff and make up these stories.
Turpin is getting more and more involved that will help with speed. The problem is there is no speed in this WR group. Jerry needs to go sign Tyron Billy-Johnson. He knows the playbook and system. His deep speed would greatly help keep CeeDee from constantly getting double covered. It's not hard to understand how to fix this, but this team (ownership and coaches) makes it hard.
Well, in the moment, I'm sure he wasn't very happy. I saw them talking some later on the sideline.Maybe, maybe not but I'm just curious why Dak didn't at least acknowledge CeeDee with a head nod or something instead of ignoring what he said. That seem normal to you?
its called not being on the same page. no excuses.Looked to me like Dak read the play wrong and threw underneath when the throw should've obviously gone over the top.
Understood, but Turpin is way too short (5'9") to become a deep threat. If a defender is within arm's reach of him, all they have to do is raise their arms and bat down the pass because of how short Turpin is.Turpin is getting more and more involved that will help with speed.
Yea obviously not hte same page but I have no idea what Dak was looking at there.yeah clearly Dak was expecting a comeback to the pylon...but going off memory that was covered well the fade may have been the better throw..
Hopefully his health insurance co will cover the cost of a psychologist.I just hope CeeDee can manage his emotions, and get used to the fact he is likely to be double-teamed every game, with a lot of other guys getting targets as a result. Goes with the territory.
Tyreek Hill seems to do ok with his speed..just sayin.Understood, but Turpin is way too short (5'9") to become a deep threat. If a defender is within arm's reach of him, all they have to do is raise their arms and bat down the pass because of how short Turpin is.
Tyron Billy-Johnson is 6'1" and fast (4.3s 40 time). His height and speed would make covering him deep much harder than Turpin.
There are times to attack a double team and times to look elsewhere. When you're standing still, trapped in a box between two defenders and the sideline is not the time for it. It's a ball that will be intercepted more often than it will be caught.Cd will never get a ball then because he will be doubled..thats not the answer, they better get on the same page to beat those doubles..
Tyreek Hill is 5'10" and 190 lbs.Tyreek Hill seems to do ok with his speed..just sayin.
Seems like Dak was studying the play... I hate when someone talks to me when I'm reading... nothing to see here... Great comeback!Maybe, maybe not but I'm just curious why Dak didn't at least acknowledge CeeDee with a head nod or something instead of ignoring what he said. That seem normal to you?
and thats where the work comes in, they need to fix their timing because CD is gonna be doubled often...other WR/QB combos deal with it every week also. There are times to attack a double team and times to look elsewhere. When you're standing still, trapped in a box between two defenders and the sideline is not the time for it. It's a ball that will be intercepted more often than it will be caught.
speed is speed again if they make the safty watch Turpin then he doesnt get to sit on CD...Turpin is quitly making some plays he is better than some think..Tyreek Hill is 5'10" and 190 lbs.
KaVontae Turpin is 5'9" and only 152 lbs.
Plus, Tyreek Hill is faster, quicker and stronger than KaVontae. His size helps him withstand a defender defending him better than KaVontae.
Dak threw it where he thought Lamb was gonna be. Lamb did bail on the route and in these timing offenses where QBs throw to where WRs will be, not where they are, if the 2 players are not in synch, this is what happens. I m no Dak apologist, and I was cursing him when that happened. Then after seeing the replay.... nah, Im thinking that was on Lamb.I didn't get a chance to see the games. I am going to watch the replays, but I heard and read that he quit on that route and jogged at the end, where Dak threw to where he was expecting him to be. no excuse for either of them if that's the case.
Translated : I did not watch the game, but I put on my Dak Knee pads just in case !!!I didn't get a chance to see the games. I am going to watch the replays, but I heard and read that he quit on that route and jogged at the end, where Dak threw to where he was expecting him to be. no excuse for either of them if that's the case.
I'm not disputing Turpin is performing better, but he's too short to be a deep threat.speed is speed again if they make the safty watch Turpin then he doesnt get to sit on CD...Turpin is quitly making some plays he is better than some think..
