Oh I agree. I don't think this is a situation where Jerry had to talk guys into taking him. Factor in that there really was no one worth taking there except maybe Chaisson who most felt wasn't ready to contribute.

And I think Reagor is a good player but Eagles trying to convince their fans that he's on the same level as Lamb as a prospect is insane.

    Yeah..

But didn't the Iggles in last year's draft trade up right before our pick and take a TE we were looking at to replace Witten?

Can't remember his name but he went on to help them a good bit when they lost so many of their receivers towards the end of the season.

So they were successful doing it before..why not again.?

Thank goodness we were not asleep at the switch when Lamb showed up.

I know all of us were at home watching with fingers crossed saying...

"Now Jerrah.. don't screw this up..pick the receiver..".

DL almost always improve in their second year, there are a million examples of that. And Hill has above average athleticism, he definitely could end up as a quality rotational guy not matter what happened last year.

If hill is a rotational jag it will always be a bad pick compared to thornhill who everyone wanted

    I can't imagine why I didn't remember this.

And the prior draft Philly traded up in the first round to jump Houston to take OT Dillard, who doesn’t appear to be very good.

So Philly fans are like: “So we traded up for Dillard to keep him away from the Texans but couldn’t trade up for Lamb to keep him out of Dallas?”

People get too caught up in the "value" of waiting in a deep draft, I say if a player is there that shouldnt be, you draft them if you can.
GB did nothing to help ARod, not even late.
Sometimes you totally miss an entire positional group, even in a draft deep at that position..lol

This entire draft played out beautifully.
Its rare to watch a draft unfold with good players at positions of need throughout an entire draft.

What's funny is the one he is quoting is the only one that said it was high. Slater and others said it was a back shoulder throw.

He also said Smith picked him off and that's inaccurate as well. These dudes have a problem with reading comprehension, especially when they quote someone and still get it wrong.

I can remember a time when the defense could have a good day in camp and everyone would rejoice, then the offense the next day and everyone would rejoice once again.
We are only practicing against ourselves in camp this season, but somebody has to be the scapegoat still...lol
