CeeDee Lamb: Over or under 50 receptions

I'm taking the over.

Wouldn't be surprised if he catches 65 passes for 1000 yards.

Excited to see what he does for the offense.

Still can't believe Dallas got him!
Sorry.

There are not enough passes to go around as it is.

Our poor TE Jarwin is going to be busy as is serving Gatorade on the sidelines.

He has no role anymore with Lamb taking snaps.

It's a conundrumm.

Over. His best ability is the short passing game where he makes people miss.
That'll boost his receiving total a lot versus a standard downfield threat.

MM didn't have rookie WRs excel in GB but he also last had one handed to him in the 2002 draft.
Pack GM chose to let AR elevate WRs rather than draft them R1.
The Pack has only drafted WR R1 twice since 1980.
Sharpe and Javon Walker both made Pro Bowls as Packers.

Probably the under. Two WRs ahead of him and we shall see if Mike continues the stupidity of building the offense around Zeke.

Randall Cobb had 55 last year and missed a game.
DAL let Witten, Cobb, Tavon Austin go.
Jarwin will get most of Witten's targets but you can bet DAL ensures Lamb gets most of the rest.

I think Lamb is going to be a great player but I would tap the brakes a little. As usual here you have a few fans going overboard. You have to remember he’s a rookie and we’re in the middle of a virtual offseason. We also have two solid WRs ahead of him. This virtual offseason is bound to set the rookies back some. Obviously Lamb has to stay healthy. I would be very cautious on getting my expectations too high for him his rookie year. High expectations usually lead to big disappointments. I’m real excited about him but I always temper my enthusiasm because so many unforeseen things can happen.

If he and Dak get on the same page and he works underneath a lot then Dak will hit him often.

What was Gallup’s numbers his rookie year.

33 catches for 500 yards. Not sure if he was injured.

Jarwin is going to look like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz.

He ain't going anywhere. He is a holdover from the Garrett concept of Receivers By Committee Day. Swain, Jarwin, Witten and the other 6-8 TE project they.cut..

the guy who was the Texas A&M basketball player..so famous already forgot his name.

Oh yeah..Schultz too.

What a crashed position of wasted draft picks and bust.

Jarwin is cut after this year.

People will be screaming we can't get Dak's potentional until we get an All Pro TE.

Another $10 mil/ yr to prop up Dak.

Good lord.

No injury they had to work him in. We had Thompson and Hurns ahead of him to start that season.

I wonder what Rodgers was thinking when Lamb was dropping to 17?

Bet he was hoping GB would trade up and take Lamb.

Instead they draft his replacement.

And Philly was jerking off to the draft praying we would take a DL instead of Lamb.

We may not play football this year, but Jerrah sure won the draft for us.

That maybe all we win with this disease around.

In 12 full seasons in GB, McCarthy had three 50-catch guys 7 times. In three of those years, the third guy was a TE. (In 2015, four guys reached 50 catches, including a TE). He had three 50-catch WRs in each of his last three seasons: Cobb, Adams and Nelson/Jones (2015 was Nelson's lost season).

Last season, Dak completed 388 passes, the most in his career. 95 of those went to TEs and another 70 to RBs. Dallas still managed to have three 50-catch receivers. I'm going to guess they pass close to as much this year, with fewer of them going to RBs/TEs (with Witten gone: I think Jarwin will be effective but not be the outlet guy Witten always was).

So yes, I think Lamb will go over 50 receptions if he stays healthy. Especially factoring in the possibility that another receiver doesn't stay healthy.

I hated Escobar. On the other side of the ball I was fooled by Ben Gardner lol

Dak has steadily improved every year. Is Kelce propping up Mahomes? No. Does Mahomes throw a better ball than Dak? Absolutely. Does Dak’s stats support his ability to get it done? Yup. Did KC have a better d than Dallas last year? Sure seemed like it. Will Jarwin get stronger and be a better blocker? I hope so.

Lastly, will Dak be productive if Cooper gets hurt? He better be now!

Under. He’ll be the 4th option behind Cooper, Gallop, Zeke and the no name they have at TE.
