IF we can play better run defense, at the edges, we will be very very tuff in December etc.

Yep, probably win the first playoff game.

Then get embarrassed in the second game.

Nothing like consistency, eh?

You can’t ignore me. I blocked you. And we’re 5-3

For everyone else still listening my agenda is we don’t lose game over dumb correctable stuff. Tom
Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Super bowl winners. Will get in their guys face. Micah parsons, a leader, will get in a guys face. Dak hasn’t done that. But keep posting all the stats. I thought ceedee lamb sucked?
LOL. Bet you thought Romo wasnt a "leader" because of his backwards hat to.

What a weird post.

Yes defense helps but such a dumb statement that it could not be due to dak...

I never understand people like you trying to discount what dak is.

He is not an mvp candidate nor a top 5 qb but he is a top 10 qb and when he plays at his capability he's as good as anyone out there.

Criticism for dak is due when he makes dumb mistakes but there are far more things that he does well and he is a massive part of why the offense is newr the best in the league since his return

Added to that, if it was all defense, why were the offensive ranking so low when Rush was at the helm and the Defense was playing even better than they are now?

Ah ok appreciate the clarification.

Though I do think Amari’s temperament and inconsistency had a lot to do with it. This organization, and me personally, like fiery spark plug WR’s. Coop wasn’t much of an energy guy, he’s got a WR2 personality.

One thing I like about OBJ is when this team inevitably comes out sleepy or sluggish, a guy like Odell can change momentum and bring energy. Coop seemed to just seep into the abyss whenever the team was flat.

But I do get your point.

yep agree on all points. But Coop def had the talent and his route running ensured he was usually open. Just seemed like we created a new problem. I have always hated Odell but I would tolerate it if we got him ha! He would definitely add a dimension.

sorry dude, i apologized after when someone suggested that to me....i read it at 430am and clearly it went over my head...

No need to apologize. I wrote it at about 4am. I added a /sarcasm to it, but then erased that. Looks like a trap, but not meant to be.

This is all great thats for sure but a Prescott lead offense putting up gaudy regular season stats is nothing new. Keep up the good work Dak and lets get the job done come playoffs this time. I happen to be a Leafs fan when it comes to hockey. If you follow hockey at all you will know what a fantastic regular season team they have been for years. You will also know what a turd they have been come playoff time. I have always felt that they are a very similar team to the Cowboys. During the regular season the Leafs are a high flying, high scoring, exciting group that win tons of games. Everyone gets all excited because Mitch Marner is on a 15 game point streak. Then the playoffs come. The game changes. It gets harder and more physical. It becomes a test of will and desire. Lets just say that Marner and the gang prefer the regular season. Lets hope that this version of the Dallas Cowboys do not.

For what it's worth "we like our guys" is also the motto of the Leafs team.
I live in Toronto. I am a leafs fan and cowboys fan... same story both teams just are a spitting image of themselves. Leafs no matter what coaching or ownership does - they will falter in big moments a la game 7 collapses multiple years in a row... very similar to dallas losing on the last drive in the first round of the playoffs. Leafs are doing the same thing again this year - lighting it up although because of Micah Parsons I do feel like we have a game changer on the roster who can take us to another level. Leafs to me are a bunch of kids who are great prospects put together but goal tending will be their Achilles heel.

The leafs and cowboys have the same problems - they are not physical enough. Teams beat up on the "finesse" style of play when it becomes crunch time or playoffs. I think at least for the Cowboys this year we have stuck to the run and our defense has showed we are up to the task of being physical.

These numbers are so deceiving...

Lamb with Dak : 29+106+45+150+77+70 = 477 ÷ 6 = 79.5 per game

Lamb with Rush: 75+87+97+53+68 = 380 ÷ 5 = 76.0 yards per game.

I see 3.5 more yards with Dak but continue with your narrative.

I don't remember how many games Gallup was taking passes away from Lamb when Rush was playing.

Put down the pipe. Breathe some fresh air. I merely pointed to a statistic. There was no great difference from what Lamb did with Rush as opposed to Dak like the OP would suggest. The difference in 5 games was 68 yards. There was no great difference. 68 yards in 5 games can happen in one play. It's not something to brag about. It's like bragging that you ran a mile in 6 minutes on Monday, then ran the same mile on Tuesday in 5 minutes and 53 seconds. Whoopty doo!! Congrats. The numbers are basically the same if you take into account the normal chance of randomness. Yet Dak jock sniffers are jumping all over these 68 yards. That's embarrassing.

Of course Dak is a better QB than Rush. Numbers should add up to more offensive production overall. But the OP was CeeDee Lamb since Dak's return. Well, what about it? It's roughly the same.
Only a Dak Hater who doesn't know what takes to shave off 7 secs in a mile run would make this analogy.

Sounds smart and click baity BUT actually very dumb when held to reality.
