IMO that’s a poor interpretation for the intention of perspective from OP which wasn’t to uncover a hidden talent but to optimize his strength and lessen the opportunity for his weaknesses to be exposed.
Dak Prescott is a QB who does a few things above average and a few other things in a below average fashion. He is elite at nothing outside of getting money from Jerry Jones.

Keep on attempting to explain away actual Cowboy talent to be negative instead. Now read on and see how many interceptions were thrown by Roger Staubach and he got Landry his only two Lombardi's. There is more than a single way to success...
Ah yes a defense of Dak Prescott because of Roger Staubachs play. Got to say this is word salad I haven’t seen, should make for an entertaining read after some decent bourbon.

You are out for trouble here...only a direct comparison to a successful Dallas quarterback who did have interception problems and still won two Super Bowl wins...

nothing you can say reflects his challenges nor his having to earn starter status or his age to get all of the positive sides of his own path done.

All you state here is an insult as well as vanity of your own. None of his respect belongs to YOU nor can you state truth to act as if you have any holier than thou attitude. Shut up or stick to talking on what was being discussed. You impress me less than a covict...at least he owns up. As to excuses for such conduct, a liar gets what he then deserves...I don't apologize and don't have an ounce of respect for you following the insult and hate stereotype.
By the way, ever been locked up before? By now...stay on your side of the street from now on. You aren't welcome on my side!! Just stick to what is posted as it was posted.

Cowboys have overcome many tougher handicaps than Dak Prescott faces at present...that shows heart as well as dedication. What a fan should be proud about!

40M is not elite money

Yea, Dak contract really isn’t out of whack by much. Wait till Burrows and Herbert get their deals. Won’t even be top 10.

It’s all about when you sign. And why it’s called market price.

There is just way too much emphasis put on WCO by Cowboys fans. Every offense uses elements of the WCO. We'll hardly notice a difference in play design.

I think the only real difference we'll see is that there is going to be less of an emphasis on the run game, especially on early downs.

And that’s pretty much what this thread was about. Focusing on a scheme which would optimize the things Prescott does above average.

I just hope we can catch lightning in a bottle. If the Eagles can win a SB with Nick Foles, the Cowboys can win with Dak. Foles entire career was spotty. But he came into a perfect situation. All we can do is hope.

I'm not backing off that the Cowboys are good on their own two legs, or excuses taken.

Top 15 make 30m and more. With Burrows, Herbert and Lawrence and couple of more. We soon will have top 20 make 30m or more

This year Rodgers is only making a little over a million. They pushed some of his money to 2024. The Jets got Rodgers at what looks like vet minimum for a year. I'm interested in seeing how they take advantage of that.

I saw “Michael Jordan” and “Phil Jackson” and stopped reading.

Please tell me OP didn’t go on to compare them to Dak and McCarthy in any way.

I thought even YOU would have enough common sense to understand that the OP was trying to give an example of scheme change.

I feel stupid for giving you that much credit. You gotta do better kid....

I think the biggest change that will be made on the offensive side of the ball is in-game decision making by McCarthy. If we're running the ball very well and the opponent's defenses wear down and show they can't stop it, McCarthy will beat them in the ground with it.

We didn't have intelligent in-game awareness from Kellen Moore. He wasn't smart enough to stick to what's working.
McCarthy will keep his foot on our opponents necks if they show an area of weakness in their defense. THAT will be the biggest change, I believe.

Sorry but I can’t place Prescott that high regardless his stats . Just don’t see him with the same type passing skills and abilities. But it at least helps me understand your view.
My view is the same as Mike Martz, Mike McCarthy, Bill Belichick and other great coaches. Wisen up.

Yes the Rodgers cap hit for this year is around a million. The bill comes due the next year: over $100 million if he plays!

And if they cut him after 1 year, its $58 mil in dead cap!

Jets are absolutely gambling: 2023 or bust.

Of course they could always re-work it and kick the massive pay day 1 more year down the road.
