Doesn't he have sickle cell? If so he won't travel week 2 which makes us even thinner at end
I knew sickle bell could be bad, but had no idea how much altitude could affect it.
Ryan Clark was held out of a Steeler playoff games a few years back. He had some big extenuating circumstances (gall bladder and splenty previously removed after a previous game in Denver due to the condition), but gotta respect Tomlin for his integrity here:
Tomlin:
"If he is in any more danger than any of the other 21 men on the field, then we err on the side of caution," Tomlin said at a news conference.

Clark:
"I talked to my doctors and we actually had a plan in place for me to play. All things pointed to me going until (Tomlin) told me I can't. He said he wouldn't have let his son play and so I'm not playing either," Clark told ESPN.
