I think a lot of people tend to have knee jerk reaction. In limited snaps Tapper looked very good out there, brining pressure and getting a sack.
Ok, well. That's a pretty cool dude there. Easy to root for him.
This thread turned out to be pretty entertaining.
I don't remember a time on this site when the RealistsTM have had such a bad run. Almost as soon as they pick a player to mock, he goes out and does something worthwhile. Even in a case like this Tapper jumps out of nowhere and gets a sack in just 13 snaps.
Some people seem down on him
The players we traded for are on thinner ice because we traded conditional picks for them. If we cut them as Irving/Moore return, we get the picks back, so unless they do something special soon, I'd cut them...just my opinion.Alot of people here seem to think he is on very thin ice as far as his roster spot goes.
I'd like to hear Zoners thoughts in this
I'd like to see Randy Allen, at least signed to PS. He's a much better EDGE rusher than Tapper but Ravens had too many at this position, someone had to go.
Neal also outplayed Tapper. So did Lenny Jones.

It's a little quick to be calling 4th round pick who is basically a rookie this year that has only played a single game in his entire career as being on thin-ice.
Geez guys, give the guy some time.
apparently not. They didn't make the 53. And fans perceptions form a few preseason game snaps aren't enough, and is not the entire scope of their TC.
I have no problem being wrong on Tapper, in fact I relish it because it means the Cowboys are getting the better player. But Neal outperformed Tapper in preseason, we all saw it for ourselves. Now we aren't privy to what happened in practices but practices are far from game conditions.
Again, I hope I was wrong about Tapper. Still think Neal is going to be solid-good player at minimum. The more natural pass rusher, and his athleticism is underrated.
