When you can’t complain about the Cowboys wasting picks on Jaylon and Gregory anymore you find someone else. Enter Taco Charlton. Do you guys ever take a break from this?

Anyone know how many snaps taco got5 tackles for a 4-3 DE who is a backup. That's pretty good production. Armstrong has had no more than 2 in any game
absolutely.they draft like that consistently but made an exemption for Charlton and got burned. But TJ Watt doesnt fit the system they said.
if this isnt a lesson that you always TAKE THE BEST PLAYER I don't know what is.

jury is still out on taco for me, but in my mind, things are trending to the "dead to me" area....as others have stated, we needed a DE, not a LB in a 3-4 scheme (Watt)...so I have no issues with Taco over Watt at the time...even now, Watt is a 3-4 positive player, I don't think he would be in a 4-3 (hard to say)
Taco is a luxury to me, similar to Irving but for different reasons
I envision Taco beefing up 10 lbs and moving into a Crawford/Irving type role. Could easily happen with Crawford high cap figure and lack of trust with Irving.
Armstrong would slide in nicely as a 4th DE
Charlton is a fine example of drafting for need and not BPA. I would not say he is a bust now. I'll give him one more year.

Hated the Charlton pick when we made it. He showed no burst on the highlights I saw. He looked like a poor man’s Greg Ellis. The best we can hope for at this point is a decent to average player. Doesn’t look like a player who will be seeing a second contract with the team.
He deserves and hopefully gets the Bobby Carpenter treatment. He gets his third year like everyone else. Signs don’t look great though.
He made Greg Ellis look like Von Miller. You are being far too kind to Taco.
I’m saying he looked like a poor man’s Greg Ellis coming out of college. He hasn’t been even close to a poor man’s Greg Ellis as a pro.
I'm not going to bust their balls over drafting Taco...……….no team nails every first round pick
He is an average player with the potential to be above average in time...……..not what you want to hear about your first round pick.
