I wonder if we can trade this guy for nothing? Do you think any team would want the cap hit?

I wonder what happened to the guy. He showed promise the first couple of years in between injuries,,,, I guess the injuries took their toll or he just quit trying.
Mentally imploded...dont think he ever mentally handled the physicality of NFL players. Cant remember the falcon des name but he had previously been a strong side end. Don't think he was expecting it and folded. Grasping and straws as it really doesn't make sense to go from a little better than average to completely incompetent during an age frame he should get better (4 years in NFL camp and weight training program)

He filled in for a hurting Tyron and didn’t do bad. Good enough to give a sigh of relief for a minute. Maybe he got his head full after that and thought he didn’t need to do more. Then the falcons game happened, beat down by a backup. But the mental beating was more than he or we could take. Staff did him no favors.

What % chance does “Can’t Play” have of making this team? It should be a big fat 0 chance, but with Jerry and Garrett l’ll say 10%. If he makes this team after the Atlanta all time debacle and after his terrible preseason this FO has some explaining to do. If anyone can rationalize it Garrett can.
Why are we still talking about Green?
Why are we held hostage to this nothing player?

Claiborne wasn't a backup, he was a former 1st round pick of the bucs who had 8 sacks his rookie year. He ended up on ir in 12 and 14. Atlanta picked him up when tampa didn't pick up the 5th yo. They moved him to the right side because Beasley plays the left. Brooks was the bu and had the 5th sack against green. But yeah, that's what I was saying. It didn't make sense for him to fill in well one year and be incompetent the next. Shouldn't matter in a bit!

He and Cooper make it, Rico cut. This team prefers the shiate they know, regardless of how bad it is, versus the potential they don't know. Comfort is everything

You could pick up any lineman who gets dropped tomorrow and either have the same thing or a possible improvement. There's no reason at all to keep him.
