To me it is the other things they offer and I think Popeyes side dishes are the best. Red beans/Rice, better fries than Chics soggy waffles fries, mashed taters gravy and so on.

I can go to Popeyes and eat whatever in the rest but always wind up getting some sides (mostly red beans/rice) to take home for later.

I will say this for Chic though...at least in my area, the business is much cleaner inside. I don't see much difference in overall service but the Chic was much cleaner inside than the popeyes.
But that was just in the area I was in. Most of the time when I was down in Louisiana there was no issue with the cleanliness inside.

I agree with you on the red beans and rice, love it! Order those everytime.
 
Here's a secret about Chic fil a (but only if you like fast food breakfast) they have the best bacon, egg, biscuit out of all of them. I was surprised because they are known for their chicken sandwiches. But I tried them out for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised.

It is good but Carls Jr beats it for that particular sandwich :thumbup:
 
Chik-fil-a spicey cihcken sandwhich is the bomb as are their chicken strips but NOTHING beats Chicken Express tenders (off topic) and gravy.
 
Between Popeye's and Chick-fil-a, I go with Popeyes, hands down. My favorite chicken sandwich is, the Bojangles Cajun Filet on a biscuit.
 
I just tried Zaxby’s chicken for the first time and I have to say I am impressed! It has a batter similar to chic-fil-a but with a better seasoning and dipping sauce. They serve buttered toast(like Dairy Queen) and crinkle cut fries which are much better than those wafflers.

My next trip will be to try Bojangles chicken but I hear their breakfast biscuit sandwiches beat all.......stay tuned......

I have never heard of these two fast food chicken restaurants growing up in Houston. My next hamburger will be Prince’s, never heard of them either but looks tempting.

First off, sorry for Houston. JK, I grew up in Austin and I miss Texas. You named at least two places I've never heard of and I will go the next time I'm home. Peace brother.
 
Okay, I can confirm that Bojangles has the best breakfast sandwiches of all, specifically the biscuit. I got two, a chicken fried steak biscuit and a bacon/egg/cheese one. I am stuffed like a tick yet my mouth is still watering for that butter biscuit :omg:
 
I think Burger King just moved to the front of the pack. I tried the Spicy Ch'King (stupid name) but pretty dam good sandwich.

Krispy Crunchy Fried chicken is the best and it is real Cajun Sammich is served on a buttery honey bun Cant beat it I would chose Popeyes over Chick Fila
