If anyone can get most out of Dak, it would be Reid. He had a similar QB in Alex Smith.

Andy Reid has got production from just about every QB he’s ever trotted out there.

If he had Dak then Dak would be a better player for it.
Andy Reid should be the Cowboys coach. It would be a major upgrade over Garrett.

I am rewatching the game. Obviously, we don't have anyone close to Tyreek Hill, but their offense is a model of how effective ours could be. First play is a read option that freezes the 8 man box and gets a few yards. They run a lot of slants and play action that give Mahomes a small window of progressions, which allow him to quickly make a decision and get the ball out.

They line up in a lot of unique formations, which makes their offense unpredictable. There was a play where Hill did a fake jet sweep, turned around, and they ran a pitch option with Mahomes. It's like watching a video game offense. Mahomes faked an audible and they direct snapped to a running back.

Do yourself a favor and watch the game if you have Gamepass. It's insane.
Chiefs fans are probably saying the same thing about our D, or will be when their D causes them to lose a game. I do think they have one of the best offenses in the game, but they had the same thing last year.

You can stand Tyreek Hill next to Terrance Williams and tell this front office to pick. They're going with Williams. LOL Evaluation is a huge part of the problem. That's besides the coaching and lack of imagination in the scheme.
He's a Garrett guy... Very strong point made!

Andy Reid is an offensive genius and finds ways to get the ball to fast players in open space

Exactly, and Dak fits their scheme better than he fits Garrett's....if you can call Garrett's offence a scheme.

That would require to much thinking for our coaching staff.

The route combinations could be improved to make "reads" by the QB faster and easier.

The Cowboys have avoided complicated alignments/plays in the past in part because guys like TWill and Dez were not very smart.

Last week Tyron made everyone question his mental abilities because he made many mental mistakes.

Beasley and Witten were the only receiving options in the past that could deal with a complicated scheme.

Zeke's mental makeup is still undetermined, IMO.

This year they have many new players on offense which is not conducive to complicated schemes.
Gallup Rookie
C-Will Rookie
Looney - Backup
Hurns - New to scheme.
Austin - New to scheme.
Tights Ends - Swaim is the only one with experience and that has primarily been just blocking.

Hopefully Linehan does increase the complexity as the season progresses. He has been given more freedom from Garrett and Garrett's offense this year.

If I could add 1 non-QB to the Cowboys offense, I might choose Tyreek Hill. He affects the offense way beyond his own stats.

20 years and he's won no Super Bowl, that's exactly what's being cried about here....lol

No.. what's being cried about here is a team that falls apart the second they hit the postseason. You can pretend an 8 to 1 win difference in the same time span of their coaching careers means nothing or the fact that Reid had 17 years on his resume before becoming a HC and actually won as an assistant. Garrett??? nothing at all. people want to see consistent coaching that can not only make the postseason, but actually win some games. I see a Garrett run team with zero confidence once the playoffs roll around. ZERO Reid didn't win a Super Bowl but got dam close a couple times. Meanwhile in Dallas, cleaning out their lockers is the norm. We'll get em next year fellas. lol clap clap clap A soft football team. After quite a long period of letting the process unfold. And opening day didn't help his cause any.

Bingo.

Reid is a far superior coach to Garret and everybody knows it. It’s not even really close.

Is Reid perfect? No of course not. But it seems Garret defenders have no problem moving the goal post to defend him.
