This inevitably got him in trouble as he traded away key pieces and replaced them with players that didn't fit his scheme. Lets not turn this into another "I hate Garrett thread" because there is a difference between why both have had losing seasons this year.

Opinion. Can't we enjoy a "Philly fired coach thread" without having to keep with the agenda of Garrett bashing. I could debate and possibly agree with you point by point but there is a whole section for rants that we can go to.

It's not so much about being an "I hate Garrett" thread as much as it's an example of a rival organization that had three years of results and acted upon it while the Cowboys have 5 years of average results and apparently think it's the right course.

The constant slobbering over Kelly was nauseating. Jon Gruden might need to use all his PTO to get over this. Deion, too, although he already did over Dez.

Chip seems to have forced his way out to get to Mariotta. Lurie gave him an option to give up the GM duties, and he declined. Bet he doesn't care about that so much in Tennessee.

Results are for the simple minded. Explanation is multi-factorial and requires someone who can understand that there are many reasons why an outcome is what it is. With all due respect.

'Surprising'? Maybe the fact that he did it one game before the end of the season. Other than that, I've been saying for about 9 months he'd be canned.
