Choice is for real, no doubt.

I've said it a hundred times to my friends and stuff who don't know anything about him...

...You don't lead the ACC in rushing 3 years in a row by coincidence.

You're absolutely right. We should have listened to you.

serious man crush going on here.

his vision is just breathtaking..

It is the vision and the feet - the ability to cut in the hole - we haven't had that since Emmitt.

I've liked this kid since we drafted him. He reminds me of Emmitt. He plays with the same heart and passion. Team player all the way.

I said all offseason he was a 1st round quality back.

Kudos on that one - I remember you loving Choice and Rice.

:laugh2: I don't think I've posted it on here...

...and I see the irony in how much I hate pat-myself-on-the-back posts

TC is one heckuva gutty, talented back and we're lucky to have him. Name a team that he could not play for with effort and intelligence like he has displayed as a rookie.

At this point in time, I am beginning to think we need to get Choice more carries than Barber. It will give Barber less pressure on his toe and Choice just seems to have that "it" factor going for him.

If by "it" you mean that he is better at running the ball, then I agree with you.

Choice is surprising because he doesn't have elite speed nor great size.

He has tremendous vision and instincts, though.

He blown me away in my expectation from the draft.

that little "cross draw" out of Shotgun formation, in behind the BIG Oline is tough.....Choice disappears behind them

Kudo's to Garrett for install ..........nice play there

Next year is going to present some problems. All 3 Rbs deserve to see the ball. It will be interesting.

The tought of these three backs is mind boggling...

our draft this year was very good all round...Choice and Scandrick are gems for where they were chosen.

Now if we can just pick up a few OL and safety gems next year...and a backup QB.

The thing is that he reads blocks so well that he takes advantage of any crease that is there. If you make the hole, he will find it - very Emitt-like. Barber needs a big hole to run through because he is too slow and lacks the vision to exploit a small one. He has been a homerun hitter as an RB and frequently hits the HRs when he goes against the play's design. The problem is that there is not enough consistency to get a good running game going when you can't depend on a consistent 3-5 yards per attempt.
