As has already been said numerous times, the GM in Philly is held accountable for his job. He has to actually perform well to keep it. That situation doesn't exist in Dallas.

The 'we like our guys' mantra is alive and well in Dallas
Jerry has been saying : "We like our guys" for 27 years

28 seasons and counting. But on the bright side, we’re only two years away from the 30th anniversary since we last won a Div playoff game.

It's a great question. Why can the Eagles execute these moves and no one else can. When they make these moves (Brown, Swift, Byard) what do the Jones family think. Do they just shrug their shoulders or what?
Yep they just shrug their shoulders and don't care because they make money in spite of themselves

Yeah well we make a lot more money than the Eagles so who is the real winner in the division?

/s
Cowboys fans. The average cost of Eagles tickets is over $50 more than the Cowboys average ticket, and Eagles fans pay $5 more than Cowboys fans for a 16 oz. cup of beer. What else matters?

JERRY WANTS THE EAGLES TO LOSE SO HE CAN BRAG ON HOW YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL IN HOW YOU SPEND! LOL THIS IS NOT A WAY TO BUILD A TEAM
There is risk in making trades mid season that don’t pan out. They usually involve draft picks going out, additional cap hits and of course you don’t have cheap labor available due to loss of those draft picks. That why a team has to be really careful about giving up premium draft capital mid season.

I would suggest that trades that make the most sense for the Cowboys involve sending OUT Gallup or Sam Williams in return for a player or players in an area of need. Of course both players’ trade value is at or near a low point right now.

Tyron Smith and Tony Pollard also fall into that same category to a lesser degree.

The cap hit would probably be prohibitive, but it also might be an ideal time to see what Zack Martin might net you in a trade. If it’s multiple picks, I would be looking at that pretty hard.
