Well let's get to work on formulating a package!I know it sound's crazy, but just to clarify;
he said Romo and draft pick(s) for Watts, not a straight up trade.

He's back seeing the white lady, or he took so many hits his brain is swiss cheese, there is no way that happens, if I had a chance, I would say yes to that before the Texans could finish their offerI'm hearing it so I thought I would pass it along.

Even if Houston thought that Watt for Romo (plus any draft picks) was an equitable trade, I don't think they could take the cap hit. I don't know the specifics of what the hit would be, but I'm almost sure it would be significant. If I'm not mistaken, Watt is in the middle of a $108M dollar deal that had a significant guarantee. Then on top of that, they would have to take on Romo's contract. Even before all of that, Houston is up against the cap, from what I read. I simply can't see a way that deal would or could happen.You have to remember something here. The Texans are more desperate than us. We are much further along than they are. All they really need is a QB. It's ready made for them and they no longer need JJ.
Based on this, the Texans would take a $20 million cap hit if they traded Watt. Add that to the $14 million cost for Romo, and the $19 million for Osweiler, and that's $53 million of their cap space.
That math doesn't add up to me.
Even Houston isn't that dumb.
