Now, this I agree with! You have to have nads to get kicked in the nads!

My point is...now listen! Maybe Goodell is actually helping these knuckleheads BEFORE they become worse criminals? What is wrong with that?

Some things in life need some "tough love"!

Like I asked before, do you have kids? Were you and only child? Did you have both parents growing up?

Some of these kids did not have any of that, so they know nothing about how to act in society! They think "money can by me love"...! Well, it can't!

So, someone had to step up and break out the belt, because some of the morons just don't seem to get it!

You want to wait a few more months to let the court teach the lesson? These are kids that should have know what is right or wrong in the first place...yet, you seem to believe that they can to WHATEVER unless the court punishes them?

Take care Fuzzy!

(oh, and if you don't have kids...get a vasectomy...tomorrow)!!
;)

You can try to spin it however you want. I am concerened about the precedent that Goodell has established. Very concerned.

Tags learned his lesson in 1996. i wonder who is going to get hosed before Goodell learns his.

contractual rights with contractual being the operative word.

the nondisclosure agreement between tobacco companies and employees is just one example.

you just said you never said Goodell wasn't within contractual rights, when up until now you were screaming that according to the old CBA, Goodell didn't have a right, when in fact he did under both

that's quite different from never saying that now is it? btw, it's pretty sad that it took you that long to find out when all you had to do was a quick search to read over the CBA regarding player conduct, and then you had to be an arse about it even though you were completely in the wrong, sorry, you just can't go that route and get off

so you're equating Goodell's actions trying to clean up the league w/ giving people cancer? wow

i never stated that i never said the old conduct policy didnt give goodell the authority. i aslo have been more than willing to admit that i was wrong because the players contract gives him just that authorty. you certainly had no part in proving anything.

way to make up some complete and utter BS though.

summer you are now equating Goodells suspensions to beating small children. wow its fun to make up stuff isnt it?

summer is there any point in that. we talked about that subject for days and it took 150+ posts to point to section 15 of the players contract.

its a 250 page document and not something you just browse but thanks for playing.

  what the hell, you just freakin' said this not that long ago

I never said that he was not within his contractual authority to do what he did

which is what you did do by bringing up the old CBA and saying under that, he had no right to suspend PacMan w/o him being convicted of a crime, when in fact the old CBA gave him that power

I like how you conveniently want to bypass using the old CBA as your old argument

wow

you answered my question by bringing up the Tobacco industry's contract, about how you can be within contractual rights, but still be wrong
