I thought he was done two years ago, but was real solid with the Patriots and Eagles as a situational rusher. I saw on twitter it was for 2.5 million.

But yet many were whining about Thompson being signed at almost 30, but it would have been ok for Long.

When people talk about they like what we have at DL, look at Philly. DEs - Graham, Barnett, Long, Bennett DT - Ngata, Cox, Jernigan

I wish we had even just one of their DT's. We need a big time player at DT. Can't wait until Marinelli is gone and we get a new scheme, or hope we do. didn't Marilnelli say this was his last year.

If we had their DL and our OL, I'd be uber confident about our 2018 season, even with Garrett.

It's why I would not be disappointed if we went DT or even an edge player like Landry early in the draft.

It's also why I am pissed this team has ignored the DL in FA.

They are the team we need to get past in this division and they've had a much better offseason to date than we have.

Suh is still out there but we know that is not going to happen.
Only can hope they go DT in the 1st. Vea, but he may be gone. Hurst was cleared by the Doctors, he may be there or Payne. I would take any of those 3.

I think it could change some things. I have little doubt Stephen and Jerry have crafted their roster building plan on defense largely with Marinelli's input.

Then take a look at the cost vs production between Bennett and our own Tyrone Crawford. A Pro Bowl caliber player vs a guy without a true role. A guy that Dallas has to find ways to get on the field vs a guy that you can comfortably line up across the line. Dallas' "starter" at RDE right now out if sheer necessity, vs a guy that the Eagles have the luxury of rotating if they so choose.

This is not a bash against Crawford, this is just one small example of where the Eagles front office is running circles around our own.

Eags slowly turning into a Pats type org where older vets (who still have ability) go to try for a ring or 2 before retirement. They finally got a coach, a QB and a ring and will be bursting with confidence this year.

Love Chris Long for the guy he is. Dedicated his entire 2017 salary.
But he is 32 years old and had 5 sacks last year.
If Dallas had signed him the crying would never stop.

actually its not , has ZERO impact on us..until we play these teams really are meaningless and who they gain and lose make no difference, its how we play them on game day that matters..trying to figure out whos better or worse at this juncture is pure speculation and really isn't fun, its if we win or lose on game day..no one can predict that so why worry in March for God Sakes?
