Let's say Dak doesn't get an extension. The more valid question is where will he rank at the end of the upcoming season.

There has been a lot of turnover in the QB world over recent years. Being top 10 in a world without Brady, Brees, Rivers, Luck, Rothleisberger and with aging \ injured superstars like Rodgers & Wilson isn't a terribly high bar.

With some of the younger QB's seemingly coming into their own, they will likely push the guys that "have to be discussed" down to where they belong.

Let's see how he handles the pressures of a one year deal & a fan base that is largely ready to move on. If he truly likes betting on himself, there will be no better time.

Uhhh, to be honest and fair, I have admonished Dak at times, especially concerning his greediness concerning a new contract extension. I'm not 100% on one side of the Dak spectrum like mountain goat is. lol

If Dak was top 10 we would have made it to at least one conference title game. Had chances with a 13-3 one seed, and a 12-5 two seed. A top 10 QB would have made it at least one of those times.

Dak is better than Lamar, Stafford, and Herbert who it looks like Simms have all above Dak. So yup... Top 5. Stroud, Allen, Burrow, and Mahomes are the only ones I could see above him.
