In the base defense there are only two starting corners. Two safeties. 3 LB. 4 DL.

Now the team does play the nickle a good bit and in that case you have 3 corners. But X is wanting to know who we would want to start at CB in the base defense.

The plan has been to have Scandrick at LCB and Carr at RCB and bring Claiborne in at LCB when nickel is in.

Hmmm...I rarely see this team go out there with 2 corners....that just sounds like a recipe for disaster. I'm sure it would vary depending on who's playing the best. Claiborne and Carr should be those guys....one of them struggling then they will put Scandrick in there i'd assume.

If the opposing offense is in a two TE, two WR, one RB set... Dallas is probably in their base defense. It isn't that uncommon.

I'd say Carr should sit in favor of Claiborne and Scandrick due to his lack of ability to run with elite receivers.

Brandon Carr may be the starter this week, but Morris Claiborne can take the job if he's able to stay healthy.
