That's not what you said, and I wanted clarification. So for the record, you were just using hyperbole to make a point, KJJ?

I know what I said and I said he's not even close to the best in the league but don't tell that to some here. There's some who've been in Mo's corner all through his down years, I've seen the debates and have been involved in many. If there's an article claiming Mo is the top ranked corner, you can bet there's a few here based off that and his improved play this season that he's the best in the league. That's what they'll read into it.

That's no exaggeration, there's some major league HOMERS on this board who convinced themselves a few years ago that Mo was a real good player even though there wasn't anything to base it on. Now they see his game being talked up by many in the media and an article claiming he's the top ranked corner so that will make him the best in the league in their eyes. I've been dealing with FANS a long time, I know how they tick. lol

We're playing exclusively Man. Not surprised to see him having more success.

When you tell him to line up vs. a guy and say "Shut him down," he doesn't have to think much and can show off his skillset.

Considering his Wonderlic score... This is a a good thing :)

Funny the debates I had with people about Mo last year while they were in denial or simply didn't accept he was looking great.

Sign Mo, then hope to find a Casey Hayward type player in FA (I'm still bummed we didn't grab him in FA). I also wouldn't be totally against throwing a cheap contract at Carr.

That pass break up in the end zone against the Bengals was beautiful, that was the textbook way to play the ball.

Dude plays like hot garbage for YEARS.. then he has 5 good games and he is the best corner in the league? Please. He needs to produce all season at a high level.

Was playing like this last year. There were threads on this, you should have paid attention.

I'm a bit tired of having to repeat this crap to you guys. I gave you stats and pictures last year, you people denied it, and now here you are with your usual short term memory with the same crap arguments.

He's been playing at a high level since 2015. You've now been told, so in 2 weeks you won't be able to jump in with the same non-argument again.

Also, what is this "Mo has played like hot garbage for years"? Mo had a good rookie season, no he wasn't give us Marcus Peters turnovers but he had a good rookie season. He followed it up in 2013 before his injury. His worst year was 2014 where he got burned in the Rams game, took a fit, and sadly got injured the following week.

So this "hot garbage" is an exaggeration. Now he didn't live up to his top 10 pick, but not living up to it does not mean hot garbage.

Deion Sanders has a completely different take on why Claiborne's thriving.

He says Mo switching sides has helped him tremendously, because Mo naturally and habitually steps forward with his right foot at the snap.

On the left side, that means he can easily open his hips to the outside and run with the WR. But when he was on the right side, it was much tougher to open his hips to the sideline.

Sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about.
