That's the type of statement that will bite you in the arse for sure if it was made part of a signature.

I understand the rule friend.

It was still a weak call when viewed from the perspective of the danger it posed to the QB. As in none.

It will only bite you if you have a habit of not meaning what you say and saying what you mean. I don't suffer from that affliction.

My only gripe against officials is when they don't call the game fairly. If they are not calling it on the opposition, don't call it against the Cowboys. We have seen more then our fair share of phantom calls this season and hopefully with better officiating in the playoffs that will no longer be the case.

It really is quite simple.

For a LONG time, there have been pretty significant discrepencies in the number of holding calls for and against us, as well as things like PI and illegal contact.

Do you have #s on this or is this just "perception?"

remind me what the issue in Washington ....

You really think the the commish doesn't care what goes on in the league? I think we have a commish who has shown over and over that he doesn't tolerate any BS. But we also have a commish, who unlike you, realizes that there is a collective bargaining agreement that limits the sort of actions the league can take for certain infractions.

Washington got away with a delay of game than the penalty for the delay of game.

And I realize there is a collective bargaining agreement, that doesnt stop him from being consistant which he is not and proves it day in and day out. For a guy who you claim doesnt tolerate a lot of BS, i dont see him really coming down hard on anyone and i still see lots of BS.

Maybe I am just smarter than him, the requirement for his job is not based on wisdom nor intelligence.

He doesnt have much of an agreement with the Refs, can we see some action there?

Mr. devil's advocate the numbers are there if you do some research. Even without the numbers if you watch the NFL along with the Cowboy games it is obvious.

We have one of the best pass rush defenses in the league but we rarely get the holding calls in our favor. The Greenbay game comes to mind. The missed roughing the passer in front of the ref whose responsibility is to watch for it goes uncalled was mystifying. It doesn't take any one wearing a tinfoil hat to see the discrepancies, you just choose to ignore them.

I didn't make the claim. You make claims you should post data. or admit it is just your perception. of course, every teams' fans believe their team gets jobbed by the refs.

Not coming down hard on anyone? Really. Have you not been paying attention?

And actually, I do believe there is an agreement with the refs regarding how they are evaluated. Of course, unlike you, the league realizes that refs will make mistakes and don't have the benefit of being able to see 18 camera angles on plays.

and ... I've said this before .. it is on Wade to go ****ing bat **** crazy when that happens. I have noted repeatedly that you are not working the present ref crew but you are working the next batch. This is especially important when you are going to be facing the same opponent again and you've got one of the better officiating crews in the league coming in (Hercules might have screwed up last year, but his crew is better than most). You have to make a big deal of this on the field and later in the week to the league - if you work it right, it buys calls later on.
Parcells approach was never to go ape**** on the refs, but he would talk to them for extended periods and occasionally pop an asst coach along the way.

We don't want Wade going off on assts, tho I think some would be happy if he popped Campo.

Other than that, he's doing what all coaches do and that's talk to the refs on the sidelines.

I'm pretty sure Phillips didn't notice the hit or have any real idea what had happened to Romo. Didn't appear that any Dallas players really noticed what had happened. It was a fairly sneaky shot by Clemons, which is probably why the officials missed it.

Someone needs to get this guy back tomorrow. That was total BS.

It's the second time this season Ron Winters has allowed it.

The way to get him back is to send him golfing ! or whatever that loser does

But you are refuting it. What better way to make your point then with data, else you are talking out of your lower hole.

I don't think so. The players, coaches are not looking for a penalty. That is what they pay the refs for.

The funny thing is that the media barely mentioned it. When they did mentioned it, it was in regards to how stupid Wade was to leave him in after the late hit.

i believe it is his first fine of the year. so unless a guy has a history of doing things he gets the smallest amount.

I'd also argue that 5k isn't "pocket change" to a player like Clemons who doesn't make a ton of money. It isn't a huge sum that's taking food off the table, but it is a substantial sum.
this....

You want to make a claim, support it. Don't play the "i'm rubber you are glue" game. Poster made a claim about the frequency of penalties, I call BS unless he provides data. But hey, you want to keep standing up for your boyfriend, go right ahead.

perhaps ape **** is a bit strong -- but what he needs to do is draw serious attention to the missed call. Particularly on plays that are judgment calls - because the more attention he draws to it, the more the next crew is looking at it on film.

What is your BS based on? It is funny you don't see the hypocrisy in your argument.

A tip for the future a counter claim without factual corroboration can be considered BS too.

It's an assumption to think that he doesn't. The camera shots of Wade on the sideline aren't geared to make him look strong and in charge.

Even during the Washington game someone mentioned above, more attn was paid to the fact that Campo and another asst (I forget who) was talking to the refs as well.

And that was a pretty weak call imo. Maybe letting the later one go was the ref evening things up.

Weak? Brady gets that call even if a d-lineman breathes on him.

I'll go find the numbers, the last time I saw something worked up on it was late in the 2007 season. I've seen nothing since then to change what the research showed.

As for your other comment, if we had a "f you" smiley, you'd get it.
