Another Dallas reporter mentioned this yesterday. Sorry but Thompson is a ST guy at best. Brutal as a base D safety. Makes me think Thomas is a lock.

Wow this is scaring me. Thompson was terrible last year. Love to blame that on Garrett too but come on.

Packer fans were glad to see Clinton-Dix leave. He's known for taking horrible angles.

However, you'd think McCarthy would know that, so not sure what's up here.

I do know that McCarthy was an advocate for Biadasz, which can’t hurt his chances. Mike loved him at Wisconsin and watched him a lot there.

If he hits, that’ll be huge for the future of the OL.

Actually Thompson was pretty good here in Boise...I am giving him a pass because Kris Richard just about screwed everybody up. Not shocked Ha Ha is running second team. What is he? A box safety? Don't know if he is what you want in a single high safety...not fast enough....not big enough to be in the box. Not sure what happens to him.

Ideally IMO he starts somewhere in the week 4-6 range.

I would NOT allow his first assignment to be Aaron Donald.

Thompson is not very good... but neither is Dix. I didn’t like signing him but I thought maybe the coaches know something that we don’t.

It isn’t looking that way.

My hope is Wilson, but who knows?

Absolutely! And the sooner the better. No offense to Joe Looney, but he's a guy you love as a backup, not a starter. Biadasz at least comes with pedigree and upside.

Nope but we also didnt know Fred would quit when he did.

I don’t have a lot of faith in anyone facing Donald... but at least Looney can move well, which is the biggest thing when facing him.

MM claimed the staff was "very confident" in their current roster in denying Earl Thomas.

Evidently, they're okay with their safety spot at this time. Let's see if it stays that way.
