Clinton Portis ripping skins on radio

Portis is a hypocrite. He complains about snitches, then goes on a radio show and reveals private, behind-the-scenes happenings with the coaching staff. I'd be shocked if they didn't shop him next spring. I just hope they don't find a sucker buyer.

With the way Betts has played, I'm not sure they'd really miss Portis all that much anyway. I wasn't sold on Betts at all coming into this season, but he really impressed me down the stretch.

Brandon Lloyds are much worse. I honestly can't wait till the day this piece of crap is out of the Commanders. He does nothing but bring a stinking attitude with even more stinking play.

Where as CP, he's not going anywhere. He's frustrated with with the way our franchise is run. He wants it to get better. He's a Commander and hes not going anywhere. He might have gotten injured this season but when healthy he IS a top 5 pick. Not many backs can pass block and run outside and inside the way he does.

No way we do that. And Betts is as fumble prone as they come. 6 in 8 games.

And he only had 4 tds in 8 games when Portis had 7 in 6.

Only true Commanders fans know that he is stepping up as a leader and just telling it how it is. To say he'd be gone next year is ridiculous and i could put big money on him being back next year.

And why would he go to Dallas anyway? Please tell me some former Skins that have gone there, I'd like to know.

I really don't understand why Portis is ripping his team....sure a losing situation is frustrating, but the foreskins have a great young QB and solid receiving corps to build around.

Portis is a top five running back in this league and I'm surprised that he would lash out like this to begin with....not really professional.

Sounds like a guy who wants out of the losing situation in Washington...also explains why I heard him on local channels the last few weeks of the season praising Betts up and down and saying how lucky the skins were to have him because he can be a frontline player, yadda yadda yadda.

I just hope the Skins are smart enough not to trade him in the division...I'd hate to see him in Philly or as Tiki's replacement.

They would never trade a player of his caliber within the division. Gibbs would have to be senile to do that.

Having said that, if it gets to the point they have to move him, look for the jets, that is their trading partner all the time.

Other teams that need a runner desperately are cleveland and maybe detroit.

I dont think they can trade him though, they wouldnt get fair compensation in return, especially when you realize they gave up a first day pick and champ bailey for him.

He is an injury risk if you ask me and teams are happy to get runners in the draft now. I think they are going to be stuck with him.

You just put people in there based on how they did this year, not their careers. He is in a group with only 2 other players: Barry Sanders and Jim Brown as the fastest player to reach 6000 yards. Cant say that about any others on your list save LT.

He is the only back that I would take over CP, and maybe SJ. The rest are hardly top 10. Edge fell of when he went to Arizona (product of colts line) and Shaun Alexander is clearly a product of the seahawks line because he has struggled so much this year without Steve Hutchinson. Westbrook is a great all purpose back, but not as good a blocker or as elusive as CP is.

You just cant accept the fact that we have an all pro RB and your starting RB is trash. Our back up is better than your starter.

I don't care about Barber III b/c Portis would have had at least 17 TD's hd he been healthy the whole year. He had 7 in 6 games. More than Julius had all year! LOL

I know ya'll are going to bash me and everything and say that Jones/Barber is better than CP/Betts but I could care less, its your opinion as a boys fan just as mine is as a skins fan.

Now, where have I heard this before? Ohhh that's right, Lavar "Commander for life" Arrington.

Notice the similarities between Lavar's and CP's opinions, being injured and the coaching staff holding them out even when they stated they were capable of playing. There is a lot more truth to CP's statements than what many skins want to believe. In the past 3 years you have had Lavar, A. Pierce, CP, Archuletta, and L. Coles taking shots at the organization. The Bengals are the only other team I can think of that players were so openly critical of the management and coaching. There are some major issues in DC and it starts with the owner. He is singlehandedly ruining that organization much to my satisfaction.

One bad season will do that to someone. Imagine what would happen if T.O. got hurt in pre season and yall went 6-10 this year.

Is that the same Gibbs that said the same thing about Ramsey his last year in Washington? If I recall he yanked him after 1 game that year and then shipped him off to the Jets for peanuts. Don't be so sure. If CP decides he wants to move on he can force the issue with Snyder a la Coles and Arrington.
