One thing we all know for sure is that this incident will lead to a new reality show for Miss Stiviano. Or a Playboy pictorial.

It's a slippery slope for the NBA. They are likely frantically trying to find out what's the harshest penalty they can hand out to an owner for having an opinion. Whatever it is, I don't think the mob is going to be satisfied.

Most likely won't be satisfied. The NBA will likely hit him as hard as they can, and in the end, he'll still own one of the most lucrative NBA franchises in one of the biggest markets, thus it will seem as if "nothing" is done. What I would like to see happen, is if that was Sterling on the tape, fans do not attend games (which won't happen), Doc Rivers resigns at the end of the season and free agents avoid the Clippers like a plague. And any players who have the flexibility to leave (CP3 and Griffin are locked in for like 4 more years), to leave even if it means less money.

Maybe that will make Sterling decide it makes more financial sense to sell.

I would love to see the players boycott the game, but reports are they decided against it.

To lighten it up....

Mike Fisher was on the radio today, and he said
"Now we all know why the Clippers fired Vinnie DelNegro last year...."

DS: You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them?Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?

This is exactly why this issue is being overblown. The man employs African Americans and makes them rich. Who cares if he likes hanging out with them personally?

This statement shows a complete lack of understanding on how the NBA operates on a financial level. Donald Sterling nor any other owner, isn't making any player rich. Yes they sign the checks, but they have very little say in the matter. They HAVE to spend a certain amount and no matter how much you may not want to make African American players rich, you will literally hemorrhage money, if you don't.

If you want to make the argument that he gave a coach or front office guy an opportunity and they made the most of it, then you would have a point, but not with players. Player salaries are pretty much slotted for their first 4-8 years or so and this has been the case for a long time. Before that was the case, before the salary cap (and floor) Sterling didn't make any rich.

Yeah - its like tolerating some colleagues or a supervisor at work Monday-Friday but not necessarily wanting to hang out over the weekend.

So there's nothing wrong with not wanting to be around your black co workers, because their black and being okay with your white co workers?

Are you serious? Who cares if someone makes racist remarks? Wow!

Ouch.

If what he alleged to be saying is true, then maybe it is best for Mr. Sterling to own a hockey team and NOT a sport where the majority of the people are the ones you do not want to hang with.

religious people do that too....i can work with someone who curses up a storm, but outside of work, i dont really wanna be around them.

He's employing the people he allegedly is making racist remarks about. Who cares whether he likes to socialize with them outside of owning the franchise?

I just used that example because Sterling employs young black men and pays their salaries, yet doesn't necessarily want to hang out with them aside from owning the basketball franchise.

I think its fair to say not everyone likes their supervisor, but you put up with it because they could fire you if you are insubordinate.
