Dunbar is a receiver at this point, but we should find out what we have with Michaels soon. Its not like he can get Romo killed now.....

I don't understand the love fest. Seahawks disnt want him despite just spending a second rounder on him. Cowboys said they want to work him in slow yet everyone on this site wants to unleash him. Maybe just maybe the Cowboys or Seahawks don't think he's ready to contribute? This reminds me of the Ryan Williams love fest.

if CMike plays it will be because on of the top 3 is injured.

Which is sad because he might actually be able to provide something that none of the other 3 can in a physical running style. McFadden may be able to and even though he squares up defenders and goes at them, he doesn't seem like a real bruiser.

Michael has that human-thumb physique to move people back.

I'm too intrigued by Dunbar in the pass game to let him off the active roster. He lines up as a WR more often than as back anyway.

me too. I want to see him continue to grow into a quicker version of Preston Pearson.

That's what irritates me the most. Right now we have three very similar RB's on the roster and nobody to actually pound the rock like Murray did last year.

I'm all in favor of sitting either Randle or DMC and bringing in C-Michael to bring a physicality that we're missing now.

It's pretty sad that we have to revert to passing in 3rd and short due to having no active RB who we can rely on picking up the 1st.

I don't think we've been in many 3rd and shorts this year. It seems like we're always behind the chains because of penalties or we're turning it over.

We have some really talented running backs, I don't think you sit Dunbar. I like the idea of eliminating Clutts.

Cutting Dunbar would be incredibly stupid. With Dez out he causes the most mismatches. He's also solid in pass protection. With no Romo he's gonna be Weeden's security blanket.

Exactly. With Dez out I see little chance of Dunbar not being on the active roster. And he's not just limited to dump-offs. The guy is a deep threat and he can catch. It will likely take an injury or drop off (likely with DMC) to make room for Christine.

In fairness the OP was just suggesting carrying Christine > Dunbar as the active player on the 45-man game-day roster....not cutting Dunbar. At least that was my read.

I would love to unleash CMike. This dude can be the horse we need to punish teams. DMC could be our Dunbar.

To be honest, Dunbar should be active every game. CMike should be active when they believe he is better than either JRandle (as a runner) or DMcFadden (as a blocker)

Not only did Seattle not like him, he was behind 34-year old Fred Jackson and an undrafted rookie FA on the Seahawk's depth chart. He was a 2nd-rounder, and he would have been released had Dallas not expressed interest in a trade.

Very reminiscent of Ryan Williams.

I think Cowboy fans need to wake-up on Dunbar. I see game changer in him. His catching ability has exceeded my expectations. With Dez out get this guy involved. He can take alot of pressure off TWill and Street.

My new nickname for Dunbar is Crow-bar. Thats because I was so wrong about him during preseason.

He would be the last RB I would like to replace. If anything I'd replace MacFadden. He's been are least productive RB so far and both Randle and Dunbar are already similar types of backs.

We need someone like CMike though. This oline thrives on blocking for a workhorse type of back like Cmike.

CMike is just an insurance policy in case DMC, Randle, or Dunbar get injured. That's the only reason he's here. All this talk about him being activated in lieu of one of our other RBs is just rubbish.
