And Brad was a starter last season while Maddox was not even on a roster. I can see why people aren't enamored with Johnson, but I can't see how anyone thinks Maddox is an upgrade. There are 32 NFL teams that didn't think Maddox was worth even a 3rd string position last year. Is that some sort of league wide conspiracy or is Maddox just not good?

His pedigree dissappeared a long time ago. He never came close to being worth a first round pick. He is only 3 years younger, so that is not much of a difference. He hasn't been worth any thing to earn substantial wear and tear.
