Losing by 1 pt to a good team while having to start an inaccurate, late signed QB isnt grounds for dismissal. I do question entering a contending season with no real backup QB, everything else is bad luck.

Who would be the interim coach at this point? I'm finally at the point where I agree that Garrett is not the answer, but I'm curious who would take over. I don't know that any single unit has been even close to good enough to warrant a coach being promoted. Any ideas?

Garret needs to be called to the carpet. 5 minutes to go, you just block a FG, and you run three times up the gut on one of, if not the best D line in the game? Talk about sucking the air right out of your players. Garret isn't fit to coach a PeeWee team. On the last drive, Romo was having to tell Cassel and Garret what to do. He is completely lost. Garrett has no business being a head coach in the NFL. He's just over his head.

That was the game right there.

Not having the guts to win the game is. Parcells did way better with a doped up Quincy an a host of other suckage QBs.

FIRE JASON GARRETT-that is all.

He is a fraud and doesnt deserve to be head coach.

That's so weird. Last year when we were winning, it was thread after thread touting Linehan as the genius behind our success and JG was just the walk-around head coach who was merely a glorified cheerleader.

Now, since losing Romo and Dez just coming back from a broken foot, it's all Garrett's fault.

You guys are hilarious!

Jason garret , is in charge of the most valuable franchise in the USA and 3rd most valuable franchise in the world .
What has he done so far to be the coach of the Dallas Cowboys .? Not sure he has done anything .
How many better coaches are out there ? At least 10 coaches starting with belicheck , Tomlin, carrol, McCarthy coughlin, harbaugh , Kubrick , fisher , Payton , etc etc ..

At the end , it is all on jerry's shoulders to make the change and hire a real coach .

Y'all are unreal. Was Garrett and co "conservative" Last week against the Giants? No. What happened? Cassel threw 3 picks and almost single-handedly lost the game for us. Ok, we ran the ball 3 straight times after the pick. I wasn't exactly happy about that but at the same time, the only thing that would've been worse would have been...AN INTERCEPTION!! Something which Matt "Dumb****" Cassel showed us ALL last week that he is VERY GOOD at doing, ESP in the second half. So tbh, idk how anyone can second guess the conservative nature of the coaching staff in the second half.

The real party that deserves a WHOLE LOT of blame is the ****in FRONT OFFICE for not signing a REAL, LIVE gotdamn BACKUP QUARTERBACK. Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden will make ANY coaching staff look absolutely miserable, and before you go off bringing up Cassel in New ENgland, Cassel didn't have to learn the entire Pats playbook in 4 weeks the season he was forced into action...

The front office deserves a lot of blame. For poor back up QBs but also for thinking this coaching staff is any good.

For all you Garret haters, please go root for a team that has the IDEAL COACHING STAFF you desire. I for one don't want nothin to do with fellow fans who misguidedly blame the coaches for losses that really fall on the shoulders of piss poor QB's and an idiotic Front office that refused to sign a proven Backup QB the past 2 years...

No way... we ran the ball 3 times after blocking a kick. with all the momentum, and 7 min left. It was so predictable i called it before the drive. Garrett is conservative. he plays scared. How many trick plays or fakes has he ever called? Today was the first one i remember. How many plays do we run that use misdirection or a smoke screen or a pick? It's unbelievably consevrative and uimaginative

It's all Romo..

We know that now.

Our offensive coaching staff is the worst in football.

I never thought Linehan was a genius, all they did was made a commitment to the run game and you dont need to be genius for that with this oline but Romo still bailed them out so many countless times.

Not an ideal staff -- at least 70% of the staffs woulda won at least one by now. And 50% woulda won two. Garrett is a good GM and motivator but horrible in game and X's and O's

The worst part of this is that he shouldn't be in a position to where we have to even argue about him as a "GM"
