The Packers are paying both players less money than what they could probably get on the market. They are being somewhat frugal. What about all of the players that they have let walk like Gregg Jennings and James Jones because of contract demands.

We are going to pay Dez. However, we are trying to get the best deal that we can. We are trying to be frugal. We are letting Murray test the market. He wants more money than what we have offered him. Murray will take the offer back to the Cowboys and see if they can match it. He wants to be here. We want him here, but the money has to match. We don't want to be in cap hell after he begins to deteriorate after carrying the ball for another 400+ times. Cowboys are actually playing this the way they should. Chill.

You know the Packers haven't been very willing to pay RB's very much. Who knows if they'll pay up for Lacy after his contract is up... but they haven't in the recent past.

Dallas not wanting to break the bank for Murray is pretty standard procedure for the NFL these days. They're going to pay Dez more than GB paid Cobb.
