If he traded and I think he should be
It will be because it’s a smart move to trade a guy with some value before he walks away for nothing more than a maybe comp pick

Prescott wasn't asked to be Superman. Nothing was demanded out of him that's not demanded from every other quarterback in football. Not every team has an Ezekiel and their quarterbacks are a bigger part of the offense. Prescott was simply asked to be a bigger part in an offense where he was protected previously by a good running game. Mr. Prescott needs to step up if he's going to continue to be a starting NFL quarterback.

Beasley, who is entering his seventh year with the Cowboys, was quick to point out Wednesday that Prescott didn't exactly fall off last season after his Rookie of the Year performance in 2016.

"He was still making plays all the time," Beasley said during an interview to help promote Old Spice's new Captain scent at a local Walmart store. "Last year, we asked him to be Superman and relied on him so much. When things broke down he was making plays scrambling. A lot comes with filling some spots maybe where we were weaker and stuff like that."

"They took away something that we had a lot of success with in 2016, with our naked game," Beasley said. "They stopped letting him get the edge. We worked and worked and thought we were going to be able to get it at some point just because we were getting so good at it, but they did a good job of taking that away.

"Now we just have to find something different to do on first and second down pass-wise to help him out a little bit."
That starts with not using the same route concepts over and over.

I wonder why Beasley disagrees with that take?

I read Beasley's quote to suggest there were personnel issues ("A lot comes with filling some spots maybe where we were weaker and stuff like that"), meaning, LT and LG issues, and that, with Elliott out and the protection compromised, we got into too many third-and-longs (""Now we just have to find something different to do on first and second down pass-wise to help him out a little bit.").

Jerry could try to talk Aikman out of retirement if they want to play the naked game. He’ll have to check that he still looks good in the shower.

here's what gets me about some of you, regardless of what our own players say you all still know "more". Brice Butler said they only ask Dez to run the same routes, which makes it easy to cover him, Beas said we didn't make any or the right adjustments after defenses adjusted, our own players have stated that other teams are calling out our plays and some of you just ignore all this. It would be hard on any QB if defenses knew what you were going to do. Do you honestly think that if teams knew Gronk only ran 3 routes and basically knew what formations he ran those routes out of, TB could still get the ball to him. You are fooling yourself. Defense Coor. and players who study film aren't that dumb. Read this:

That's what I'm sensing. What I don't know is how much of that is on Garrett and how much on Linehan.

I get a sense that Linehan will have greater control going forward. For better or worse.

Beas is talking way too much. They will begin to call him a cancer and he'll be traded.

He definitely shouldn't be saying this to the media. You keep this sort of thing in house if you have an issue.

You're a joke...Hard for Prescott to do much when he's laying on his back.
Hard for him to play QB and pass block, ya know?
You guys must not really understand how pitiful our O-line was last season...
