Cole Beasley's next contract

They've got only two WRs I would consider are viable, longish term options - Cooper and Gallup.

That's it. The rest are just........ blah.

Good player..not worth overpaying.

Get another UDFA and pay someone like Chris Carter to mold him.

I still in the back of my mind wish we had held on to Switz, yes I know he was a mirror of Beaz, but, he was youg, a rookie and wouldn't have demanded a high payday. Beaz won't be with us 2019 if he goes for broke on being paid... my bet he tries FA market, and comes back to earth.

So for those Championing Austin, what is he worth and what do you think we will pay him? You realize he is here on a one year deal at 7 million. We were only on the hook for 3 of that, LA ate 4. IMO, he's not worth 7 million a year to take over the slot duties when he has only had one year where he had 500 yards in his career. His rushing numbers aren't even worth talking about, most years around 200 with one exception. I would rather keep Hurns at 6.5 for versatility. Zeke is a great pass catcher out of the backfield, I don't need Austin taking snaps away from him. Not a huge fan of Austin's attitude either.

I’m not re-signing,and I don’t think Dallas will. Slot guys isn’t where you want to allocate money, and he’s replaceable.

WR should be interesting this offseason. Cooper and Gallup are locks.

Then what? I suspect they'd like Beasley back as long as his contract is decent. But maybe not. I suspect Austin is a keeper given his skill set. Has Brown shown enough to warrant one of the 6 roster spots? Honestly, after bashing the kid for a few years, I am kind of curious as to what he has given what he's done in recent games. Hurns? Thompson? They seemingly liked the kid from Boise St who got hurt too.
