Dalton has been great in Dallas, however I don't know how much leverage we really have because if we don't pay Dak, somebody else most definitely will. I'm glad we signed Dalton on the off-season however, he has been amazing for us.

This was the same argument that was used to extend Zeke and that has turned out well no?

These stats can’t be correct either, because Dak has 4 INTs this year and has played five games. They actually gave Dak less INTs.

And as an aside, 3 of the 4 INTs, were when Dallas was behind 1 to 8 points, meaning the game was tight. Dalton on the other hand has 5 TDs and 1 INT in this situation.

Dak’s TOs were contributing to opposition building up significant leads. He also had 3 fumbles in 5 games. Dalton has 2 fumbles in 10 games.

Dak. only threw 4 passes when above 9 points, meaning Dak’s numbers were never when ahead. Dalton on the other hand is 19 of 28 when up by 9-16 points, meaning when Dallas is winning big and the games are essentially over, his stats drop. I mean Dalton and Moore could pad stats if they wanted, but there is no need taking risks. It’s all about burning time off the clock and preventing TOs.

And Dak has 9 passing TDs this year....
I get the 6 starts but that’s last year for Dak.

Obviously..

Is Dak better? Sure..

But they both have about the same impact on the outcome of a game and if you build this utopian football team required to win with Dak then you might as well just keep Dalton because he will get you similar results.

Pay the elites.. I hate paying them but you have to.

If you let tier 3 & 4 QBs hold you hostage for elite money than you ain’t winning squat.

We can do a lot better than Dalton too.

Like I've always said - Dak is nothing more than a decent backup. In fact, Dalton should start ahead of him if we kept both and @frozen #DON'TPAYDAK or this team will be set back for years. We don't need another Zeke contract on Stats Prescott. Check out his fumble stats when you get time too.

Youve always said that? And you admit to that? Not a great look....

Again, people acting as if one great game somehow is the same as consistently playing great. Dalton was very good Sunday, no question, but it was one game, and not one that we haven't seen from Dak before. I know, we have won some games with Dalton in recent weeks, but that wasn't Dalton carrying the team, that was the defense finally stepping up and making some plays. Dak would have won more games if the defense was giving up 10+ fewer points per game.

That stats are for 6 games. So it isn’t just one game in regards to Dalton.
That’s the point.

Apologies but Dak is NOT better.
The fact that Dalton's accuracy and downfield vision is better and is able to lead WR (as seen in last week's game) makes a world of difference.

Cowturd has lost it. Now he is talking about how Dallas should lose so they can get a top 7 pick. He rates Dak as the 13th best quarterback while he has Andy at 23rd. Matt Mosely of all people set him straight by saying Dak is a top 5 quarterback.

2-3 record as a starter. No one cares that he had 9 TD passes, they care about the wins.
As always, losses are all on Dak. I'm betting you weren't giving him all the credit in the wins over the years.

It's also a bit nonsensical that you don't accept the fact that the defense was giving up 36 points per game when Dak got hurt had anything at all to do with the losses.

All a QB can do is work within the offense to put up points. Dak did that. What the defense did is out of his control.
