Where do you guys get this stuff from? I don't even understand the Joe Buck hate.

I haven't heard a single announcer ever since watching football that had obvious Cowboys' hate. Collinsworth is easily the most hardworking announcer, he and Mike made an awesome duo during the Chiefs and Broncos game and I'm hoping to have more of that in the future. Cris genuinely loves the game of football and they even had a special of how much research he does before games with each team, even has a lot of talks with the players and staff to get up to date.

I get you may not like the personality of an announcer, I tend to really dislike Phil Simms as an announcer, but I feel a lot of this stuff goes into weird conspiracy theory territory. "The refs and announcers are against us! It's us vs. the world guys!"
Agree. I don't see any significant bias from announcers.

Also I can't listen to Phil Simms. He is annoying and depressing.

The SNF crew is my favorite by far. Usually call the game pretty fair and lacks the annoying itch that is joe buck.

Collinsworth is the best analyst in the game. He can effectively analyze all aspects of play pretty well, and is fair in his critiques. I have no complaints with his commentary from last night.

Not sure about Collinsworth.. don't really have an issue with him, but I think Al Michaels Giants love comes out every now and then. He seemed to really like to mention that if the Cowboys lose and the Giants win that they would be playing for first place next Sunday night and his reactions to certain plays and ref calls hint at a bias towards wanted the Cowboys to lose. Like when Bradford sailed the two point attempt it was almost as he was a fan watching and was let down with his ill, what is that comment and the overturned fumble on the punt he was questioning if it was the right decision to give Dallas the ball, etc..

Amen. Collinsworth is the only one who actually breaks down what happened on the play. I learn way more from him than any other color guy out there. And I perceive zero bias in his commentary.

I love Collinsworth.

I think they were expecting a Cowboys blowout last night and so had a bunch of material on hand to try to make the game more intriguing. Only the way it played out, the game was intriguing enough already.

The stuff about Brown being the most-targeted CB in the league over the last two weeks, for example. They were trying to create some drama there, only it didn't work so well because Brown played great. But I cut broadcast teams some slack for things like that. Think how much it would suck to try to keep a blowout game on a Thu night interesting for 2 and a half hours.

He doesn't bother me collinsworth. Most announcers hate us so he's just another spoke on the wheel

It was an interesting stat to hear that he was targeted more than any other corner in the NFL for the previous two games. Especially when I read here that Brandon Carr is a complete disaster. Obviously other teams think that testing the rookie is the better option. Brown has held up relatively well all things considered.

With his intense hatred of the Cowboys, you know it's a great team when he can't shut his fat mouth. The last time he was this critical was back in the 90's Super Bowl years. Gotta love seeing Dak & the boyz getting under his skin again!:lmao:

I don't understand. Collinsworth is one of the best in the business. He is very fair and unbiased in his commentary. He and Al Michaels is everything Joe Buck and Aikman are not. Love Collinsworth.

I liked the Sunday/Thursday night better with Mike Tirico (spelling) over Michaels...

Not me, though I do feel Michaels isn't as good as he was 5 years ago. And I agree w/OP: Collingsworth is awesome!

What did he say? Fans are so fickle let it go, the whole world doesn't hate the Cowboys.
