I hear ya but everyone's been clamoring for 32 year old Bobby Wagner.

32 y.o isn’t an issue for me. He’s clearly still a high performing player, same with Wagner. Finger cross we end up with both.

The question, and why he was traded for so little, is how much does he have left. He's 32 and the wall can hit hard and fast. Of course, Newman played until he was almost 40, so we can hope that he's got some time left in him. I guess this means we part ways with Brown, although I wouldn't mind keeping him for cheap as depth.

It's a good move for the price we paid.

He was traded for so little because Indy is dumping salary.

Why not if he's a significant upgrade over what we had in 2022? Especially for a 5th round pick? One less immediate need. Draft BPA instead of need.

If the Eagle signed him, this forum would be calling Howie the biggest genius in the world and would be complaining about the Joneses not doing anything. Which I have called the front office out plenty times for their complacency when it comes to free agency. But not going to complain about this trade when we got another solid CB who is opposite of Diggs.
