TRADED Colts trade five-time Pro Bowl CB Stephon Gilmore to the Cowboys for a 5th round pick

He was a top ten corner last season in the nfl. On a horrible team.
The question, and why he was traded for so little, is how much does he have left. He's 32 and the wall can hit hard and fast. Of course, Newman played until he was almost 40, so we can hope that he's got some time left in him. I guess this means we part ways with Brown, although I wouldn't mind keeping him for cheap as depth.

It's a good move for the price we paid.

Only a year prior "Gilmore was traded to the Carolina Panthers on October 6, 2021, in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.[73] He appeared in eight games for Carolina, starting three, totaling 16 tackles and two interceptions."

These people on here are ridiculous. How can you cry about a top 10 corner for a 5th???
I'll be honest, some people really just love draft picks.

It's kind of weird that people are so about hording late round picks and not giving them up. The odds are whomever we take at that pick is gonna bomb out anyway.

Can I get a He11 Yeah!

Are fans happy now? :muttley:

I am ok with this, for a 5th and you know what he can do.
so don’t need to spend high draft capital at CB. Can focus on DT, WR, OL, LB, possible RB in the 1st 4 rounds.
i think you are right but if one of the top 4 CBs drop to 26 then they have to consider it.
