Needed to add some kind of boundary CB and the market was probably too expensive for the Cowboys so this isn’t a bad solution. Very solid move…now resign LVE or get Wagner and a DT and the D is pretty much set aside from a couple of rookies.

What position are we gonna select if not DT with our 24th pick? Receiver? Tight End? Those 2 aren't our most pressing needs.
Could definitely see WR. Could see RB if Robinson is there and we don't retain Elliott. Not sure about TE.

I'd like to see us go DT, WR, RB in the first three rounds in that order, depending on how things fall.

There goes my hopes of trading up to pick 6 for Witherspoon…
Our *entire* draft wouldn’t get us to #6. You’d have to trade every pick and next years first to get Detroit to answer the phone.

Are fans happy now? :muttley:

I am ok with this, for a 5th and you know what he can do.
so don’t need to spend high draft capital at CB. Can focus on DT, WR, OL, LB, possible RB in the 1st 4 rounds.
Something tells me they still won't be happy. Trading for Gilmore and re-signing Wilson means they've already done more to improve the team than last year.

did we not watch the same Anthony Brown, Kelvin Joseph, Nashon Wright,
Treyvon Mullen etc last season?

Corner was still a need and they got a very solid player. And Brown is coming off an injury!
