And FWIW, Jaylon Smith and his people have said that there is definitely no nerve damage in his knee. Granted, what else would you expect them to say? You wonder how much teams are letting loose rumors of knee damage to have him slide down the board (and how much the Smith camp is in full denial mode to keep his draft status high).

That is a legitimate question. As bad as he looked, I wouldn't want to find out. He just looked shell shocked and beaten. When a QB gets hit that much, it really messes up everything. He was a mechanical mess last season and just looked like he was scared to death. Perhaps O'Brien can get him fixed.

I'd say it's more than impressive. At 6'4" 235lbs, those times would be impressive for WRs or LBs that size.

Teams will do their own evaluation with their own guys, but wearing an AFO brace isn't something you wear unless you have nerve concerns.
