Combine chatter....

Owa's hips don't look nearly as bad as I expected. He's opening those hips and turning pretty well.

I have a slight fear that we might trade up.
Odigizuwa (however you spell it) may have pushed himself ahead of where we pick. Great tape, great 40 time, 39 inch vertical!

Like Preston Smith too.
if OO, goes before 27, that'd surprise me.
I'm coming around some (maybe the player is better and med risks are less?) but have generally thought he was a bit overrated on this forum.
He has grown on me a lot though.....maybe it was me under rating him.
Guess that'd be me and Kiper...lol. Kiper has him as the 8th best DE.

So top 5 picks are probably (not in any order) Winston, Williams, White, Beasley and Mariotta?

Just saw the Jameis Winston segment and I'm impress.

If Jameis gets his off the field issues out the way; he will be a productive QB for Tampa Bay and that offense will be scary with those wide receivers.

forget the idea of Dupree being at 27. Just put that to bed right now.

I really like some of the DT's past the 1st round....all guys with with pretty good size, but still possess the quickness to get after the QB. Getting an edge rusher in FA and addressing DT via the draft seems like a good idea.

Xavier Cooper, Grady Jarrett, Gabe Wright, Darius Philon, Marcus Hardison

Jarrett's a scheme fit here. He probably will have a limited list of suitors but the Cowboys should be one of them.

Definitely. He's a guy that could come in and could make an impact day 1 in the DT rotation and there's a possibility we could get him in the 3rd. Can't ask for better value than that. Then again who knows, maybe Aaron Donald's success will make some more 4-3 teams open up to the idea of a smaller DT.
