It feels to me like Bucky’s powers and abilities have fluctuated a lot based on where and when he appears.

Yeah. There’s definitely a sequence in the trailer where they meet and briefly fight each other, but I’m wondering who they fight once they team up?

Maybe it’s ultimately the Sentry character (Bob in the trailer)?

I just re-watched Superman II, with Christopher Reeves. What an awful movie. It makes a complete joke of Supes, suddenly adding powers that he's never had, such as that cellophane "S" that he threw at the super Mongo, disappearing, holographic copies of himself, etc. Also, when the villains are on the moon, and you can hear them talking...I guess the writer, director, or anyone else didn't know basic physics.

Bad comedy at really inappropriate times, poor special effects (worse than the original), and bad acting all around.

How they ever made a third one is beyond me.

Zod, Ursa and Non. The trio is a reason why the first two Superman films remain my sentimental superhero movie favorites but also why I love Man of Steel so much more. Dark, brooding, boogeyman Kal-El and all.
