James Gunn produces and directs Peacemaker. The series' first season was produced for its January 2022. It is loosely based on Warner Bros Discovery's DCEU that began with Man of Steel in 2013.

WBD ended its DCEU in late 2022, but had already filmed content like the Shazam! and Aquaman sequels. Both were released by 2023. The DCEU was effectively dead before those movies hit theaters.

WBD hired Gunn in October 2022 to head its new DCU. His number one responsibility was creating new content for its new DCU. New content includes matching Peacemaker episodes to it.

Justice League was DCEU.

Justice Gang is DCU... until Gunn formally changes it back to Justice League.

Emma. Not Alison aka Dazzler. Emma does diamond hard skin and telepathy. Alison converts sound to light energy.

That said, I kinda picture Brinkley more as Frost than Blaire. I think a 1980s super model equivalent to Dazzler would be Kathy Ireland in my opinion.

No no no. I meant either or. Emma Frost OR Dazzler. I think she'd have made a better Dazzler than Emma, especially given all of the different Dazzler depictions and who they choose in Dark Phoenix. Kathy Ireland? Hot but wrong hair color. I'm not saying Brinkley wouldn't make a decent Frost, but she looks way too sweet for what Frost was at that time. Pfeiffer for Emma.

LOL @ the James Gunn version of Supergirl. Supergirl the Lush. I read that she fights Lobo, and hangs out in space dives.... sounds pretty cool actually. I hope it's better than the Helen Slater Supergirl. LOL

It is hard to imagine a-n-y new movie not being better than the original movie. It was barely better than Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, in my opinion. And that one was Charles Barkley 'turrible' like, lol.
