Right, what I meant to say was that I don't think you can say the ravens have a base defense, they switch back and forth so much.

i was thinking more along the lines of last year's choke job than we go 13-3 and have yet another choke job. not winning a playoff game in over a decade.

I know ..... we would have all felt so much better if we had won against the Giants and lost to the Packers.....

Its all about the one playoff win.




Here is what it all boils down to ..... in 96 season we got in the first round of the playoffs 8 teams had better years than us.

This last year we were in the second round of the playoffs .... 4 teams had better years than us.

Thats improvement ..... and I would be willing to bet that if we had not had to beat the Giants 3 times this year to progress we would be playing in the SB. We ran up against the one team that had an advantage in the fact that its almost impossible to beat a NFL team 3 times in one year.

We had a great year ..... time to put the tissues away and get excited about next year.
