Commanders are better than Dallas now

But we have Dak and they don't, so we got that to build on!

Our future looks bright! :muttley:

No they're not.. they're just extremely lucky and are playing a last place schedule. When the Cowboys play them we will beat them by 3 scores. Write it down.
We are going to find out in a few weeks, but comparing how they are playing to the way Dallas is playing, I'd say the Commanders are better in the trenches right now than Dallas and it is not close. Their QB is playing a lot better than ours too. He may be a rookie but he is a smart runner, makes smart decisions, and he is very accurate on those deep passes.

Key word is "now"

May still be later in the year but that is TBD

They look much better. We will see if it lasts. Their defense (minus our top talent) looks like ours from last year as they are just hustling their butts off. The only thing that separated them was QB play mostly. I can say the same thing for the awful Giants. They find a QB, they are probably a better team than us as well.

Well folks, we are 3rd in the division at best

Commanders are a far better team now and will be for quite some time with the edition of Jayden

Jayden is just beginning his career and Dak is obviously on the downward slope of his

Time for rebuild, our shot window is gone
the list of teams better than the cowboys is long.

Bahahahaha. This post will not age well.

A QB did that overnight.

Completely changed the whole franchise in Washington.

Yet, people here are terrified to even try to find a QB for the Cowboys.
Look at how many years and failed first round picks it took for Washington to finally hit on a QB. You’re one of those who thinks just use a first round pick on a QB and BINGO!

I dont think they're much better right now but the organizations are pointed in polar opposite directions.

Did you JUST figure this out?

You're one of those "We have Alex Smith so we shouldn't draft a QB in the 1st round" guys.

Nobody cares what Dak over Dallas fans think anymore.

You usually pour your glasses half empty?

It's such a year to year league. Last year the Cowboys were light years ahead of them, this year not, next year could be totally different. Yes it's exciting to see a young rookie make an impact and what that does to reenegerize a fan base but that doesn't mean that will continue or its game over for everyone else.

You're what your record says and right now the Commanders are better based on that this season.

Only you and those who have a Dak agenda think he’s on a level with Alex Smith. He would have never gotten his first extension if he was on that level. You’re one of those who thinks great QBs grow on trees. All you did this summer was tout Trey Lance as the Cowboys QB of the future. You claimed he would be taking over the team sooner rather than later. It’s all part of you wanting the team to lose. You would love nothing better than to watch the Cowboys waste first round picks on QBs every few years so they can’t plug any of the glaring holes they have and would end up like Washington the past two decades. Washington will keep pulling away from the Cowboys now that they found a QB and won’t have to waste anymore first round picks on them. I’m sure you’re thrilled about that.

Didn't read, don't care, Dak fan.

I hate to say it but I think they are for real. I mean they always had decent talent. Their problems were coaching, QB and Synder but Daniel and Quinn have them believing and playing with confidence. I know it's too early but it appears they have finally gotten the QB position right. He showed the composure of a seasoned vet after the Hail Mary pass. Sometimes they say you have to be lucky........Quinn was their third choice as head coach.

This is from google AI

Dan Quinn was not the Washington Commanders' first choice to become head coach:
Ben Johnson
Many in the league expected the Commanders to hire Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. However, Johnson chose to stay in Detroit.
Mike Macdonald
The Commanders made an offer to Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, who was considered a top candidate.
