Commanders lose 41-0!

Guys....let's wait until the regular season to celebrate Skins losses. This one means 0 in the scheme of things and I guarantee you they play tougher in the regular season.
 
Hopefully if the trend continues, we can start to chalk up two wins again before the first kickoff unlike the anomaly known as 2005.
 
I'm sure they will to. That doesn't mean we can't pile on them when things go wrong.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that if we got stomped 41-0 that they wouldn't be raving about it on ES. Look what happened after they swept us last year and (allegedly) put years of defeats behind them.

guys, this is just Gibbs protesting the length of TC and preseason, don't show nothing, and maybe the league shortens it, with the NFL office on Gibb's speed-dial, I wouldn't be suprised if this were the case

The Skins are simply feeling the injury bug they avoided the second half of last season. Brunell has been up and down based on injury more than Julius Jones. He's basically been ineffective 4 of the last 5 seasons because of nagging injuries.

Portis is the key to that offense and no, friggin TJ Duckett isn't gonna help the running game much. He has as much explosion on running plays as Drew Bledsoe.

The Skins lack of depth is insane really and I expect them to lose whne the backups come in but getting waxed 27-0 with starters in a dress rehearsal is just awful.

Gibbs may have to run the offense and let Suanders work his stuff in slowly.

If we had lost 41-0 this place would go completely bonkers. Talk about out of control.
 
One guy on ES posted that he was happy the Skins got pounded. ***? I know it's preseason, but I'm never happy when my team plays so poorly we lose 41-0. What a bunch of whacky people over there.

Now, there's a Skins fan who recognizes reality-- I do believe last year WAS anomaly, in that they stayed so healthy so long... I see their season much like I saw the Cowboys' 03 season... remember how optimistic we all were after that one??

This time around, the Skins' trolls won't be able to woof about how their "starting defense was dominating", as they did after the first two fiascos... the starters gave up 228 yards and 20 points in the first half...

But hey, Jason Campbell had has best game of the preseason-- he got his quarterback rating all the way up to 63.5 for the game... :D
