Any redsk*n fan who supports snyder's actions, against granny, is as classless as he is.

Man, and I thought Philadelphia was the capital of scumbags...Danny boy must need the dough to pay for another former pro bowler free agent.

Either that or pay for some new roller coaster at his dump hole amusement parks.

Except for one small detail. You may want to see if this has happened with any other team since the economy went bust. Even if they have, and the Cowboys included, there is simply no reason to do this other than pure greed.

Aside from being an impossible statistic to research, that's a fairly delusional opinion of motive......

We live in a capitalistic country. Capitalism is the spirit which moves our country..........all our lives we are drilled with the "get rich" then get richer. If he isn't driven by something more moral than you really can't blame him.

I'm not siding with any millionaire jerk suing fans but this is a business and they did violate contract

you said it. besides, if they had such a great fan base, there should be plenty of people in line to replace them.

Basically his point is that they deserve some sort of humanitarian award.

"This ain't UNICEF. Maybe oneday, UNICEF will get into the season ticket sales business. Until then, we're the people to see."

Prices for seats need to come down all around in general. Maybe some more "real" fans can afford to go to the game

The US is also the most charitable country in the World and prides itself on its moral basis of helping those in need. But I guess the almighty dollar has clouded Snyder's view of what is morally the correct thing to do.

And to say that his lack of sensitivity is driven only by greed would be mistaken as well. It has been documented how poorly he treats his non athletic employees. Snyder is the epitome of an immoral human being.

I believe this goes beyond greed, it is Snyder's way of saying I'm in charge, I have all the power and I'll make you suffer. The team could have taken the losses as a goodwill writeoff and still sold the seats to preserve his profit margin. But instead he is suing people who clearly no longer have the means to support a luxury item and are most likey just trying to survive, in many cases by no fault of their own. This beat a man while he's down mentaliity WILL come back to haunt him either here on earth and/or when he faces his maker. That I am certain of.

What a poor excuse to sue someone. Especially a 72 yo granny willing to pay when she can.

I love bashing the Skins as much as anyone, but I think we, as Cowboys fans, might not have much moral authority when it comes to discussing greedy owners.

My pockets are $20,000 lighter after having to pay Jerry for temporary seat licenses for my seats in the new stadium. Yes, I typed that right - not permanent seat licenses.... TEMPORARY seat licenses.

Everyone needs to click that link and read the article.

This is the 77 year old grandma they sued for 66 thousand. She's been a season ticket holder since the early 60's.
Something doesn't make sense. If she was a STHer since the 60's then why would she buy club seats instead of just keeping whatever seats they gave her in the new stadium?

Regardless, the Commanders need to do a better job of picking their battles and going after grandma is a bad idea. They should have just let her go. But overall, I am of 2 minds on the issue. I have no problem with the Commanders suing people to enforce contracts signed in good faith. But, they should not be allowed to double-dip, collecting big judgements AND reselling the same seats.

The problem is no one wants to buy those club seats because they're ridiculously expensive. There are lots of seats available in the club section, so the Skins know that if a person backs out, they're not going to be able to re-sell that seat. Club seats are much cheaper on the after market through Stubhub or Ebay, so people just buy single game tix there. I imagine the renewal rate on club seats is very, very low.

Oh, and here's my obligatory: I hate Snyder.
