Do Commander fans even understand what a draft is? And of course, these same pundits to a person panned your embarassment of one. But we shall not mention that, shall we?



How much longer will you pathetic children live off that one play? Off the two wins amongst a sea of domination?

Forever, I believe as insecure as the most of you are. Just like the Arrington play was worn out.

With as many times as Dallas has beaten the Commanders over the years, I guess it does take you all to a happy place when you recall the handful of big plays and occasional wins.

Yes the Commanders understand what a draft is. We traded our picks so there really wasn't much of a draft but considering that we haven't had chance to see how our picks have panned out then I wouldn't consider it an embarssment yet. I think you would also have to factor in the players we did pick up with our picks (through trade).

It was 2 plays.

The reason I think those games keep comming up is because those were the most recent games played. Does that make sense?

The reason those games keep coming up is the skins finally swept the cowboys after a LOOOOOONG streak of losing against them.

I bet money if they would have lost, yet again like normal, last year many skins fans would NOT be bringing them up.

It was a very long streak of losing, that's why your going to hear about a Commanders sweep alot until you win again. I'm not debating the streak you had against us, I was just answering a question about why the sweep keeps coming up.

Logic will tell you that people tend to focus on the more recent games of a series. As time passes you will hear less of it, especially with a Dallas victory.

Without winning the games there would be no sweep, but that really doesn't give a response to the statement above.

There would be nothing to bring up if we lost, so I do agree with that. If we lose then there's nothing to talk about. But it's not just because we won, it's because we won last thereby giving us bragging rights....which is why your going to hear more about it now than you would say in 3 years. <-----That was the answer to the original statement made earlier in this thread that I responded to about Skins fans "living off" of those 2 wins.

What your doing in "debate terms" is called a "strawman"...a strawman by definition is this: setting up a false image of the opponent's argument; exaggerating or simplifying the argument and refuting that weakened form of the argument.

Go back & read Alexander's original post. He makes a comparison between last year's sweep & Arrington's hit on Aikman referring to them both as "worn" Reread my words...all they say is that Skins fans wouldn't bring up the wins at all if they lost.....which is completely logical. It's also not relevant to the original post.

It is logical and it is relevant to what I, not you and alexander, was talking about.

This is not a triplett situation where alexander is part of what I am speaking about.

Well...a majority of cowboys fans did that even after they won both games...and still do when talking about the streak.

I really do not have much of a problem with them bragging after the sweep.

They have gotten beat so long and so many times that they finally swept us and to the victors go the spoils.

But to act like that was not the reason for it seems funny to me.
