Complete Cowboys Madden ratings are out

Your post confuses me; I never said it wouldn't. I don't think I ever even crossed ratings and franchise together. I was merely saying I've been playing the game for along time, and as an example I referred to the year EA added "Franchise Mode" to the game.
my post wasn't really directed at you just mainly all the people whining about the ratings. you mentioned franchise mode so I figured i'd put 2 & 2 together.

Ah, my bad. I was wondering where it came from.

In recent years, it has been harder to make your players better. Even with training camp - making rookies progress year after year is hard. I remember having rookies decking to 99 before 26-27.. lol

eh certain positions like o-line are harder. defensively i have no problem boosting the ratings for my young players. I have a 2nd year mlb now starting over 90 and a 2nd year NT(6'5 357 lbs) who is also starting over 90. I also have a 3rd year cb that is 96 overall. though I did just finish my 19-0 season on all-madden and my current 14-0 record has me primed to repeat and capture my 4th superbowl in 5 years.:D

It won't matter what the players rankings are unless they shore up the play in the trenches. Having a mediocre lineman blow an elite lineman off the ball or having a cerebral player just completely miss an assignment has really pissed me off. Or even worse, slants and quick inside routes are almost impossible to defend because you can't make your CBs play inside leverage.

lol my oldest memory of the game is when the players had no names just numbers and you could hit after the play was over and injure the star player like that.....ahhh to be a kid again lol but Im an online player and it seems other teams get way more breaks then the cowboys all the time, turnovers, dropped balls, horrible blocking at key moments, ETC...thats why I say Cowboys always get the shaft

I think you're remembering Blitz. Not Madden.

Are you implying there is some internal hidden code that makes the Cowboys screw up when the game is on the line?

No im talking about madden 95 and 96 on the SNES! You could hit after the play

Not really a code just breaks always go the other way could be my bad luck tho lol

Ware is a total beast but anyone thinking that he can outrun Roy Williams (WR) is just plain stupid.
your knowledge is shallow...I guess you never read where Marcus Spears or Chris Canty said that after they were first drafted DeMarcus and the rest of his draft class was taking a visit to the new staduim and he ran a 4.3 in regular shoes. Roy strikes me as someone that really take a long time to get to full speed...especially at this point in his career. I have seen Roy run in pads at full speed....I have seen Ware run in pads at full speed....and you are just plain stupid if you think it is impossible for Ware to outrun Roy Williams

You are aware Roy is one year older than Ware, right?

Im just going to edit the ratings myself. I heard the team who did the Head Coach game are the ones redoing the franchise mode for Madden this year.

Oh, you could TOTALLY do that on Madden back in the day. Remember the ambulance that came onto the field and would knock players over? That was awesome.

What was Ware's 40 time at the combine? What was Roy's? Bailey you really are out to lunch.
