All 3 teams left right now have excellent defenses.

Offense is a necessity, but defenses help win championships.

Offense will get you there but Defense will win it.

Congrats to Ware though and he played great and awesome to see him in a much deserved Superbowl, I love the bloke and always have so good luck mate on the big day in 2 weeks time.

Was very sad when he left us. :(

Screw you Ware and Wade. You're not Cowboys so you don't matter to me.

See how they rotate ware though. They play him mostly on passing downs to keep him fresh and not allow him to play run D and tire out.

Signing with Denver was the smartest decision he could have made.

It was an easy decision they offered him the money Jerry didn't want to pay him. As soon as Ware was released Denver jumped right on him.

I remember everybody here laughing at DEN for going all in.

They really screwed up going to 2 out of 3 Super Bowls.

Signing Manning and Ware and Talib and Ward was so short sighted.
No one wins with Free Agents.

So much for those who thought Ware was done when he was released 2 years ago. lol Hope he has 3 sacks in the Super Bowl and is named the games MVP.

I mean that wasn't even the issue but okay.

Most of that percentage said Denver was foolish for paying him all that money. So much for the brainiacs on this board.

It was a smart deal on all sides.

We couldn't pay him 12m+ with 16m cap hit to get beat up in a 4-3.

DEN has Von Miller and Wolfe so Ware can take measures to last the whole season.(He still wore down last year)

The issue was he was battling an injury and he was asked to take a pay cut because Jerry thought he was just about done and he was wrong!

It was a smart move on Denvers part the Cowboys couldn't pay him because of bad contracts to Miles Austin and Sean Lee who missed more games than Ware ever did due to injury.

That is just revisionist history. We could pay him, he just wasn't worth a 16m cap hit with a 12m salary to us. We took the whole 8m cap hit to cut him outright.

He wasn't a great fit for our 4-3 and lets not pretend he is an All Pro in DEN

He had 10 sacks last year and 1 after Week 10
This year he missed 5 games and had 7.5 sacks opposite Von Miller and 1 sack after Week 8 until today
